This has long gone beyond a joke. Carroll rolled an ankle putting on a pair of shoes! Now looking at October. Our injury crisis got worse after Zarate and now Oxford doubtful for Saturday. Still no new striker. Getting really depressing!

I think Oxford might not have played anyway, they have to restrict the number of games he plays, and God reckons it would be better for him to play away games.

Carroll-Dyer ..

Sorry to say that I wrote him off a fair while ago now he makes Nathan Dyer look good as far as Injuries go .. Carroll is just a Mega Expensive/Overpaid Injury Liability .. I have also never really rated him as a Striker anyway virtually all his Goals to date were scored for Newcastle in the Championship !
