well I guess it was only a matter of time before one of the leagues powerhouses cast there gaze in the direction of Antonio and any rumour has to be snuffed out immediately...£30/40 million know thanks would rather keep the player who is probably the key member of our squad...no swap deals either....but hey what do I know I am only a fan after all and our thoughts don't matter when it comes down to cold hard cash.....

Just read that we have offered 5 million to get Defoe. Surely that is too low if we seriously want him? I just hope this is not part of the faffing around that our owners intend to do in his transfer market. There has to be serious intent. Also rumoured that we might be after Andre Gray for 10 million if Defoe bid fails. Looks like that the usual scraps

Why are we even in for Defoe? We are that desperate even if zaza goes 6 goals in open play. Antonio has more. If we honestly believe Defoe can get us Europe its might be worth it but I don't see it. And we already have enough to stay out of trouble if bilic does his job properly

has raised its head again in the papers and online......club say no sale I am sure Antonio has a brain and realises he would be on the bench a lot...and the club mmm after getting him to sign a new deal last july are looking to offer a new deal in the summer...smoke/fire etc god help us if chelski came in with a £20/30million offer for him
