we gained 40 points last term we have 42 so far this term , we lost 20 games last term (if we lost all our remaining matches we can lose a maximum of 18 games) we scored 40 goals in 38 last season and have 40 in 30 this time around.
safe to say we have made some progress.

We had great progress before Christmas but one in twelve since then has taken the good out of that and the cup exit was a real disappointment.

This season but how much is it down to Sam. I look at it this way Steve the close season buys Sakho was Sugo I'm lead to believe so was Valenica as Sam wanted C. Wickham but Sunderland wanted to much for him. So with Carroll and Nolan out injured he was forced to play them. He had to keep the ball on the ground as he had no tall men to hit it up to. We had a bit of pace in the team now what with Cress and Jenks bombing forward we opened teams up. But the trouble was as soon as he could he got his boys back in that when the good play and goals started to dry up Valencia was being benched the midfield was slow now no pace long balls up to Carroll teams knew what was coming that's why our season has gone sour on us now. I really do believe if Sam could have started with Carroll and Nolan we would have picked up nowhere near the points we have now and we would be in a relegation fight right now.
