It wont be long now fellow Hammers the club will lose Steiden in the summer Kudus Pacman Bowen looking for greener pastures which they will find but the club cannot replace them because of FFP and so the usual injury prone journeymen who thought there best days were behind them will be recruited on freebies or pay as you play we will slide out of the Prem and into championship obscurity finally putting to bed all this European and top six nonsense the media will be happy and we will finally have our club back the one we know and love.....of course none of it will be Sullivan/Brady/Moyes fault it will be the supporters and our need for "Frontfoot" football that caused it all...what a bunch of Wankers we are eh!

Deluded Hammer's picture

Don't think it will be both. Bowen recently signed a 7 year deal and has a father in law he won't want to upset. Paqueta we all know will be off and Kudus, maybe, maybe not.
I think Moyes WILL go but what concerns me even more is the horrifying whispers that Potter is in the frame to replace him. I hear Steidten is a fan of Will Still, not that I know much about him but ANYONE will be better than Potter, Even Fat Frank. Even Big Sams football was better than this and he didn't have anywhere near the expenditure and talent of Moyes

Sullivan's track record of appointing managers borders on criminal. Sure DM has taken us to the trophy laden heights we sought but the cost has been almost too much to bear on a pretty playing front.
I have zero faith in Sully and Brady being able to appoint the right manager so our long trajectory sideways will likely continue unless we stumble blindly onto the right man.

Yeah ,it's lookin pretty dull to say the least ,imo it's goin to take a few years and she'd loads of cash to right the wrongs ,fact is ,and please feel free to disagree, we have lots of players who have taken the route of slow degeneration, not saying that's a bad thing and I'm not making it personal, it's a natural decline in our body's way of doing things ,in other words we all get old and we can't expect our body's to react to thing the way it once could ,
In all sport we grade disciplines as to our age, computance, and what we can achieve and not achieve, I.e prem ,Championship ,division 1 & 2 ,its a natural thing that players in the prem are a lot better than in the lower LGs ,that's the point I am trying to get across ,some
of them are not at the premiership level anymore ,chiefly my old friend Souchec, his countryman Coufal, Ings ,Oggy, Cresswell ,Cornet and I'm afraid Ants may not be up to it when he returns, others are worthy of further speculation ,not sure about Paddy the Greek, and even J W P isn't achieving what we thought he would ,clearly Mubama can't play Moseball and there's 2 or 3 more who make the odd bench now and again and that's as far as that goes .
I'm firmly in the Moyes out section ,wasn't altogether happy with his appointment, foot ball like everything else moves on ,Moyes is of a different time and can't, or won't adapt ,time to move on or else what we saw in the second half on Sunday, the half empty stadium ,will become a reality.

I'm also very pessimistic but I just dont see us dropping like a stone into the lower leagues. Moyes will be gone, either he jumps for a different job or he is fired / no new contract.

Said it before, according too deloitte we are in the top 20 money league globally, currently 18th. Even that sawn off runt Sullivan couldnt mess up West Ham to that degree.

Steiden was not the "main man" at BL, he was important but the appointment of Alonso was not his, he was still quite junior albeit with a voice. WHU was just a stepping stone, he would love a bigger move and why not?

We all have our views on Moyes, he is positioned squarely in the front line and takes the hits normally vented at the board.

MISSING PERSONS : Anyone seen Daniel Kretinsky? I said at the time he acquired shares we wouldnt see much of him. His typical business modus was buy for a long term gain / sell off... Sainsbury, Post Office etc. Never his intention to be active. Knows that the value of WHU will nearly double once they have hands on the BoM. I knew his business influence would be low key but FFS he's hardly breathing!!!! You would think that he might have called Sullivan from the £65M mansion Heath Hall in Barnet after the Arsenal game and say" How the F did we just get mullered 6 nil at home and why the F were all those fans streaming out at half time... explain"!!!

I don’t pretend to understand all the details of FFP but if we get, say 100 million for the players mentioned surely we can spend that 100 M on replacements, like we did with the Rice millions.
Regarding Moyes, the consensus on here is that my granny would do a better job managing the club, no she wouldn’t. Moyes has done a terrific job in getting us to where we are right now but I feel he has taken us as far as he can. Let him see out his contract, there is nothing to be gained by paying him off. We have five months to find a replacement, we need to find the right person to take us forward . Remember Pelegrini, he was a proven winner but couldn’t get the job done. So, Ms Brady and co, take your time and get the right person in. Please.

"Becareful what you wish for"

The pundits love it, it smacks of Know your place West Ham, be satisfied with a Micky Mouse fourth rate Euro Disney Cup, not get relegated and best be happy with 6th place... ooppps make that 8th for the time being. Dont dare to dream to sit at the big boys table!

The pundits that make this horrid statement clearly dont suffer the gross and dirge that Moyes dishes up every week as so called Football! Wish for... at this stage we wish for anyone including Jozi's Granny!

Well we know our place, we are in the top 20 richest clubs IN THE WORLD and why shouldn't we dream of better? Our support is MASSIVE and we will wish to one day see better manager, board and who knows...even football!

We will not win in europe like last season we will not Qualify for europe as we drop like a stone down the league the better players will want european football so will be off in the summer leaving us with such a poor squad it will be back to relegation dogfights for us once again.....Be careful what we wish for lol if wishing for football that does not consist of giving any opposition upto 80% of the ball everyweek is a bad thing then give it to me because right now what we have is just not worth having.....could get relegated they say well big deal we are never going to win the league the chances we had of attaining the champions league have been lost due to the manager refusing to bolster the squad and just flog the same eleven/twelve players every week until they drop that lesson still has not been learnt by a so called football genius....big club massive they say only thing massive about us are the constant cockups made when the nettle should of been grasped instead.

Yes Dartford and Bike, you both make good points. Maybe I didn’t state my case clearly. We can pull the trigger and get rid of Moyes now and replace him with someone else. Or we can use the next four or five months to replace him with someone better. I say do the sensible thing, take your time, scout around and find someone younger, hungrier who will take this great club to the next level.
