Forget signing striker in January

We need another leftback so bad hurts..we have been lucky that Cressy at his age is still managing the performances he does week in week out and although we have seen Johnson play that side he is not the answer and Arthur certainly is not so lets hope with our new scouting guru he can find a bargain left back to help Cressy out.

Striker wise i reckon Moyes will try and get a loan in like he did with Lingard and then see what the summer has to offer but i do not believe any player who comes in should be a back up to the beast as that is the worst thing that can happen...players need to know if you don't perform then your place is up for grabs that is every position no matter who you are.

So prudent as Moyes is with his transfer funds and the board love him for that no doubt i do think signing a left back is our biggest priority this January so lets loosen the purse strings a little Mr Moyes.

Do you think Moyes could reach out and try and get Lingard in again? If Manure are heading south on all fronts would he want to stay and not play?

I think most people know I'm not a Lingard fan. Yes he's a quality player but I never saw him as the right fit for us. His impact was big yes. But Lingard did that for Lingard and his career and subsequent profile.

The Jesse ship has sailed now, we are better this season without him. Super Sid Benrahma is a revelation this season now out of Lingards shadow and long may that continue.

I agree with Bikey, a left back is a major requirement for us. Southampton have unearthed a jewel in Livaramento, although mainly a right back, It shows they are out there. I wouldn't mind betting Moyes and his magical Czech radar-i-o-graph are on the case....
