I'll believe when I see it.

Well often they are just rumours, but I have heard a rumour that the players were given the day off so things don't leak but there was a meeting and bilic is gone. Either resigned or sacked. Anyway my thoughts are the title of the thread. I certainly hope I wake tomorrow to a conformation on that one.

Slav is a decent man,& what i liked about him most was you always got an honest opinion from him, which imo is very rare from a manager these days, but there is no sentiment in football so the time is up...

Have not seen or heard any sign of Bilic being shown the door so its a matter of seeing or hearing to be believed. Always thought that Bilic would be a success as his experiance as a manager with both Croatia and his time in Turkey, both bloody hard tasks would suit his time in th Prem, If this is true, well, whose next? Do we need a strict disciplinarian or in today's game are the players refusing to stand for a strict regime? We must get the players to play for the club for one and a half seasons we have seen no commitment from the bulk of the team. Take Zaza for instance, absolute crap with us, pisses of to Valencia and is a full member of the team and scoring regularly, why not with us? Just what is the problem and can we hope that a new broom can sweep out all the crap and get the team playing for each other and the club? Time will tell, but Tempus Fugit as they say and that is the killer.

I fully agree with H65 I've been a Bilic advocate since Zola got appointed. I've always wanted him in and backed him throughout. His honesty is second to none, he never dresses up a situation and tells it how it is warts and all. But I have to say for the sake of my beloved club his time is up. We cannot move forward anymore under his leadership. The players are not a cohesive unit and Bilic is a spent force trying to get anything out of them. Enough is enough. As for who's next it's a case of throw a six to start.........

I also still have a soft spot for him but fear he has lost the changing room. Would it help by bringing in a very strong No2 / Assistant?

like in my thread "caretaker manager" who should we go for as a permanent appointment when it comes to it? more of the same as in the usual suspects? or maybe like david dein did at the gooners all those years ago by bringing in wenger....WHO is this guy? many people asked but clearly the homework had been done and his impact on the prem is there for all to see.Personally i dont think our board have the imagination or patience to make such an appointment but also understand right now is not the time for that so a caretaker boss it has to be and if thats the case it has to be someone of such character the players sit up and take note immediately otherwise what would be the point of it....

I don't believe a word of this but just in case you all need cheering up reading in the mirror that we are all gonna be saved because Mancini is going to be our new manager I am so happy I could just jump over a dolls house. The only foreign managers I would take is Manuel Pellegrini or Di Canio the rest can have a bath. Why do we keep going for foreign managers wots the matter with Coleman or an English manager to fit West hams new Film star image

Pardew apart, only English manager I would give time to who I genuinely believe we could tempt here would be Marc Warburton. Be nice if they could get Big Sam back but can't see that happening sadly.
