Ayew
I find it very irresponsible of both the club and Ayew not to ensure that he was provided with the necessary inoculation against malaria.
We have had this before and it can ruin a players season.

Malaria
Wikipedia says "In those who have recently survived an infection, reinfection usually causes milder symptoms. This partial resistance disappears over months to years if the person has no continuing exposure to malaria." I doubt if anyone growing up in Africa has jabs before visiting home in the way Northern Europeans going on holiday do. You wouldn't take out holiday insurance to visit the Isle of Wight, would you?
