so after a week where many of my friends who support other clubs have taken great delight in the payet situation I had to point out that as west ham fans we are united behind the manager and the team and that we have Lanzini who is every bit the player if not better than coutinio at Liverpool who is lorded on high purely because he plays for the scousers.....and who will come to the front even more now the shadow of payet has been removed...I just don't think they understand how good this player is and how much better he is going to get...like Antonio you think mmm whats this player going to be like and like Antonio he is proving a revelation.....Lanzini is the man he's better than Zidane :-)

It gets worse, the sooner we get rid of the incredible sulk the better!!

They should make him train with the u21 if he don't go, as if we play him he will just go walk around

I felt at half time that Palace were no great shakes. Coupled with the change in formation this team found out that they don't could do it without Payet, it was as if the shackles had been removed. I know it was a poor Palace team but I think that second half display will give them great confidence. There will be more losses and maybe a big one but there will be a lot more wins especially at home. Wins at home will make everybody feel better. Need to strengthen the squad further though. Hopefully they'll get in a couple in the next few weeks.

Good to see you back mate. There's no contest for desire and willingness to work. Lanzini's goal and celebration summed up the day. The fans needed that more than anything and the players knew it. This is the best thing that could happen to us. Galvanising g our player, manger and fans. I've been saying it for a few weeks now since I saw "him" switch off at Old Trafford in the cup. He holds us back and holds Lanzini and Antonio back. Poor Palace team or not we demolished them second half. And I'm so glad we got rid of Sam and his no lose foitball approach. As much as Slav has struggled this season he's the best man for us.
