Seems like an age since our last game.
Leicester sit cleanly bottom of the table, and look doomed. It would take a miracle change in form for them to escape. And while it's said that a wounded animal is very dangerous, surely not a half-dead animal? Yet what's the betting we start the game in a defensive 4-5-1 formation? Shouldn't we being going to The King Power Stadium (I still want to call it Filbert Street!) with the aim of giving them an effective 'coup de grace?' Let's ATTACK them. Thoughts?

I'm sure that's in Dorsett....
We all know what we "should" do but El Hippo face will set up with the same plan. Keep the crowd quiet for the first 20, hit them on the break, bring on Ninny Nanny & Armadillo with 20 to go and if we respect the point he'll be happier than a refugee hiding in a fuel tank.
Nugent will score as he always does against us so it will depend on the quality of service and finishing from Daffy.
I wouldn't get my hopes up too much though as thoughts have most definitely turned to sun loungers regardless of the well worded press statements.
Expect lots of publicity for the Stoke game as that will have difficulty selling.....

Leicester are one of our lucky teams and although they play good football, their defence is awful.I expect a hard fought 2-1 win for the mighty irons.

I don't go along with the old "already on holiday" nonsense. Professional footballers are highly competitive animals: they wouldn't let their 5 year olds, or their grannies win a game of snap! :-)
Still 8 games to go, any player who is content with not going down shouldn't (and probably isn't) playing football, at any level, let alone the PL. I'm not sure where that "cleanly bottom" phrase came from... maybe I have a psychosis about changing nappies?!! Sounds more like a place in The League of Gentlemen, than Ye Olde Dorsett! :-))

We're crap useless fans, don't know anything about football. Should wake up every morning thanking our lucky stars Allardyce and Nolan have deemed us worthy of their sevices blah blah blah etc......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

All this site seems to be about these days is people talking about the manager, individual players etc rather than about the club in general and the game as a whole.
People rant on about the same old things because they've nothing else to say.
Basically, change the bloody record folks.

Nothing stopping you leading by example, Len. But if you expect people to not talk about the manager and players you may be disappointed.

I actually think this would be the game where an all out attack would be suicide... Look at Leicesters results this season - they have plenty of goals and have fought back to earn wins against the big teams... On paper we should be winning comfortably but we have a weakened defence and strike force at the minute. Just feels like that hungry team at the bottom of the relegation zone are ready to pounce on any mistakes and catch us off guard. I think a measured approach would be better

Take your point, ACS. And I don't say we should go Hell for leather. But if Valencia and Reid are both back, we have a superior side to them, we should play like it, not like a side hoping for a point.

With Jenkinson, Cresswell, Reid and Collins I don't see how we have a 'weakened' defence? And to add, Valencia hasn't been great in many games and his goal scoring record shows that. We lack quality attacking play in midfield and if our manager keeps playing Nolan, and previous weeks even bringing on Jarvis who's shite, instead of the likes of Nene and Almarfatino then we will continue to lose games.

We should have an easy victory but Allardyce will play a tactical game that will no doubt lead to us losing.
God i hope he goes to QPR or Sunderland at the end of the Season.

It's hard to know what result we will get on Saturday. On paper we should be capable of picking up all three points but I get the feeling that Sam is in a (we're safe and I couldn't be arsed ) mood at the moment.

Burkie 1

Said it already under Burkie's dream post :-) 0-0 is about the right result with Allardyce playing 4-5-1 to accommodate his mate Nolan and poor old Sakho chasing shadows as a lone figure! He'll change it to 4-4-2 with about 10 minutes left as it dawns on him that we could and should have won it, attacking rather than trying to defend and counter!!!

This is the sort of game (middle of the table playing the bottom) over the years we would lose, it would be great to see us dominate and win 3 0 COYI

Too many years following this club suggest you are right. But I refuse to be so bloody sensible before a match: 0-3. COYI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still playing Nolan, still bringing on Cole and leaving it until the 88th minute to bring on Nene? We are becoming a laughing stock and the 3 points last week came in the 88th minute against a very bad side so why don't they just sack him?
