West Ham just think on it what is the club to you? for me its about a proper football club that knows its roots that appeals to the working man and know we dont win trophies every year/decade etc but when we do we celebrate it properly unlike those self entitled clubs/fans who think it is there right to win trophies year in year out and dont celebrate winning them because well its the norm its nothing special fuck them they are not fans they are just glory hunting pricks that when the going gets tough they piss off......We are different we are special look at yesterdays game the arse v manure and the commentator on about how gooners/spuds/liverpool all challenging Citeh...our club on the same points not mentioned not even an afterthought no we are not big enough for the media unless its a scandal or one of the bigboys buying our players......good because we dont need them we are West Ham United feet firmly on the ground not fantasising about about winning leagues and cups but a club that means something to the community and plays good football(not so much of late i no).

So when doing the media rounds today the old Quatari to buy us story comes up i would like to put it on here right now and say NO....i dont want it to happen i want my club to be my club not some small business owned by a state with a bottomless pit for a wallet.....i dont want to see fake fans wearing the Claret n Blue i dont want the media fawning all over us because suddenly we got pots n pots of cash...no i want to us to be WEST HAM the club that now and then pisses off the big guns and loathed by the mega rich clubs fans because we know what we are a proper football club and have something those faux fans will never have.

I hate that our owners moved us from our spiritual home but there is nothing i can do about that and i accept that younger fans are even now building memories at the BOM and good luck to them but if we get taken over by a mega rich super state then that will be it for me our club and all that it means to me will be no more and i will stop supporting them because we will not be WEST HAM anymore...just look at the barcodes playing in Saudi Green pffff if thats our future then i want none of it........relegation dog fights the very odd cup now and then stopping big clubs winning a title or cup the camaraderie of the fans the gallows humour dodgy burgers overpriced chips! and the wit of the terraces.....now thats a club to support not a club thats a nation state.....

Lets keep WEST HAM what it is a real mans club COYI

The Cearns,The Pratts,The Browns,Gudmunsen and now Gold and Sulllivan.....The thing is mate it all brings on changes, the biggest of all was the move to the BOM,where all the old Burger Stalls etc and the working mans game went, its dramatically gone up market, and im afraid will continue to do so,but there is plenty out there thriving on it and paying for it and not flinching, thats the thing

Going up market is just evolution Essex. I bet our granddads weren’t happy with the old chicken run being replaced with a new stand, it’s just life.

There’s no money in the game the old way. Working class men turning up after a morning shift at the docks and buying a bag of nuts, won’t get you superstars on the pitch anymore. It’s just life and evolution. You want more Pacqueta’s then this is the price you pay. If you crave for that world I think it can still be found at Brisbane Road, but then like most of us assume you were born a West Ham fan, so you’ve stuck

I actually see the benefits of the stadium now...not that I'm bothered about going I'm actually not even watching on telly..maybe my age now,my memory has gone pear shaped but like you say Mac a generation already only really know the Bowl of muesli...me I've got more important things to ponder

For the record, I will always support West Ham, who ever owns them and where ever they play. If they played on the moon I would be there.. for the time being with recent results I’m just over the moon !! COYIs.. KTF!!! ⚒️

And of course i would always support West Ham but my poor attempt and getting my point across about ownership not the best.....i accept uber rich billionaires run the game but a nation state lets face it they'd buy us not for the club the supporters the history no they buy for a way to raise there countries profile on a world stage and the premier league does that.....and if you look at that mess the yanks are making at Chelski well i dont want that for us but thats football in todays world.

I wouldn't swap our situation, as good or more likely bad, for the short term situation of the likes of Newcastle selling our to a truly barbaric regime. Chavski under the Russian ownership must have thought that would last for ever. High risk strategy and the other clubs under foreign ownership may suffer the same consequences, watch this space!!

I'm sure most people on here would say it's a way of life supporting West Ham, it's just something you do. I've supported tem for 55 years through thick and thin, mostly thin.

In my youth I'd follow the irons over land and sea, glorious away-days. Some lovely memories like Shrewsbury Town and a quaint old pub, with just me and my mates in it. Getting my head kicked in at Stamford Bridge and outside The Valley, bloody Milwall ambush.

The glory of 75 and 80 at Wembley, a long night at Elland Road after Frank Snr's corner flag celebration. More trips to Upton Park than you could shake a stick at. Present day shenanigans, Conf Cup, that twat Zoumas magic hat......

We live in different times now. Money talks. I've just retired in life and like supporting West Ham throughout it. I just raise an eyebrow now and think wow, how did I make it here?

My boys are lifelong Hammers 37 and 27 respectively it's in our DNA we are West Ham, COYI!!
