Now the dust is settled

I think no one really wanted Moyes tbh and the board just got the easiest and cheapest option available. However, that said, listening to Moyes in his interviews it does seem a little unfair to dismiss the man without a chance. He comes across as pretty humbled by his failures and hungry to put it right. I liked what he said about training, about wanting to win and play good attacking football. It could actually go well if you think about it. He could do an Everton sort of job but with a bit more flair this time using his experiences good and bad to make a good go of it. Its done and dusted, he's been appointed against most fans wishes, but lets be fair to the man surely and give him a chance at least? He comes across as pretty enthusiastic about the job, he's taken low wages with a bonus instead for good performance, he's accepted a short term deal as well because he knows he won't get a better offer…this is his last big chance surely if he fails so he's gotta be darn determined to show people he is a quality manager. Come on David, get us going against Watford…get some fight into the players and hopefully turn the atmosphere round at the L.S.

Mess this up & he will never work again in the prem,the club is pretty much at rock bottom & we are all pessimistic but "IF" he can get some reaction out of these,& i use the term loosely"professional footballers" he might just be able to turn things round...he only has a 6 month contract (apparently!!) so how i see it,it cant get much worse....mmm

We are better than that,sod the board,sod the stadium,the only people that really matter are the fans & i hope we can show a bit of solidarity by getting behind the new manager in his first game...

Of course you get behind the manager, but then the 2 head Dave's think everything is rosy and all will be forgotten and forgiven in selling our sole.

It wont be forgotten or forgiven for a very long time...The board have had the benefit of the doubt for a couple of seasons now,but theyve been found out...i wish David Moyes all the luck in the world,but if this is a COCK-up the board will see some fury imo....my inflatable dildo,has been put back in the cupboard...FOR NOW!!;)

I agree but how do the fans show their frustration and distaste for the board as well as trying to galvanise the team. If the team do well and the cheering and roaring comes back the Dave's can say they were right.

We've got no choice we have to give him 100%backing ,maybe just maybe he can turn it around ,im getting some positive vibes allready hes said publicly that some of them are goin to have to step it up ,lets hope if they dont he'll ship them out

Spoke with one of our players today and he told me that the past week under Moyes had been very encouraging already, and even I would be tatically better than Bilic so fingers crossed!

and he was very complentary. I heard the other week that training sessions under Bilic were a joke, not from the same player, in that they lasted for about 2 hours and then players left? His tatics were shite and he was way out of his depth, but loved his passion and honesty when interviewed.
