Positivity

Submitted by Walks68 on Sat, 20/06/2015 - 12:07

I have to admit on balance I was probably in favour of sticking with Allardyce, however now he has gone I am liking the positivity from the club, chairmen, various articles and supporters. it will make a change following wh this year where most of the fans support the manager. This support will make a lot of difference to the performances as well.looking forward to the start of the season

I do hope everyone gets behind bilic even if it takes time for the transition to work.A lot was made about the "treatment" of sam,but he was with us for 4 years (yes he did what was asked of him!)Im very positive about the coming season,& i feel that if we are patient the "biggish" signings will be made by sugo!Onwards & upwards i say...coyi...

Yes, I think the vast majority of supporters will back Bilic. Whereas there was a proportion who never would accept that a bit of 'Allardyce football' was what we needed after being relegated. But he was never going to be our manager long term; he was just too 'old school' and too negative-minded. Whatever 'The West Ham Way' is, it sure isn't 'The Sam Allardyce Way.' Perhaps it will be 'The Slaven Bilic Way.' Let us hope so!

I know actions speak louder than words but Sugo are sure talking a good fight, feeling optimistic about the future, Bilic and some nice attacking football will see the decibels rise again at the boleyn and OS

Personally feel that Allardyce might have left two, definitely one season, too early. I find it worrying that he admits that he didn't want to stay either. Does he know something?

I think saying he didn't want to stay was face-saving. It sure looked to me, especially towards the end of the season, like he REALLY wanted a contract extension. But either way he is gone, and now we have to look forward.
