Apparently Josh Cullen and Elliot Lee are starting, really hope Lee can start to prove his potential this season as it will be vital for the future for him and for a few others if given a chance. I noticed that Lee is in for Zarate but also noticed that Zarate was not even on the bench. Does anyone know if he picked up a knock last week, they did say when he came off that he was pointing to his groin or something

Rumours about Zarate leaving for a Serie A side, can't say I'd be that bothered, if he couldn't even be bothered to get himself fit last year then I'd question his appetite to start with, I thought all of the youngsters did well last week, although the opposition was very poor they looked comfortable on the ball and full of confidence

I'm not sure with Zarate either Dave. If his attitude was right we could see a valuable player but a you say for whatever reason last year he was shipped out and didn't do much at QPR either.

I think he definitely has the ability mate but as you say he doesn't have the aptitude, can't be coincidence that he didn't feature for QPR when he joined on loan

We won't need to mention Zarate anymore. There you go, I've stuck my neck out. Cullen could be the attacking midfielder we have been craving. I was very impressed when I saw him last week. If he does well tonight he could have a very good season.
In Poyet and Cullen we have 2 very good youngsters, (someone behind me last week said "don't they remind you of Carrick & Cole?") providing easily good enough squad strength in midfield. Billic might want to use these 2 regularly this season & use the proceeds from Zarate, Downing, Maiga and possibly Jarvis to create some real spending money.
