Rio tells it as it is

Heard Rio on talks**te this morning and when asked for his thoughts on the payet situation he said bluntly if he was in charge then he would let him rot in the reserves...no player can be bigger than any football club the club never created this situation it is one of his own making and saying you'll only play for one club who clearly don't have the money to buy him well that's his problem not the clubs...well said mr Ferdinand well said indeed

I posted before,get rid then we can all move on,apparently now payet has got 24 hr protection cos his house has been egged!!
Its all getting nasty,& it paints a bad picture of westham imo!

The club has pampered and given a good salary, was an idol for the fans and both have always respected him. What you are putting in a bad light it is Payet, disrespecting acting from "Star capricious". I agree with Rio, rotting in the team of reserves

Im proberbly goin to be accused of sitting on the fence but i can see merritt in both arguments ,on one hand you have a judas that the fans loved as much as the De canio that has stabbed us in the back so as a lesson make an example of him ,leave him sweat at least until the summer a move that would have the support of a lot of clubs ,make a stand and let these prima donnas know "we're as mad as hell and we're not taking this any more ".
On the other hand get rid now and move on .
I cant for the life of me figure it out ,surely his agent approached the French club to know whether they would agree to west hams asking price ,i cant believe he would risk oblivion on the strength of not knowing if they were goin to respond positively

West Ham have already sent one or two players to rot in the reserves, remember Piquione! He just refused every transfer we tried to arrange for him so we dumped him in Development team to see out his contract.
I would do the same with Payet but at £125k or so a week thats a big bullet to bite
Cant see Ms Bradey taking that one!
