Last season Astra knocked Lyon out of the Europa Cup in the qualifying stages -- Lyon finished second in the French Ligue to PSG last season.

Well, gotta find some reason to be less miserable this morning!

I cannot believe that after waiting 10 years to get back into European football we just threw it away.

i don't mind that billic kept the better players (alledgedly) back for sundays game, dont mind losing when we are betaen by the better team, but last night we just through it away. Even with the team we put out we should have beaten them.

In the past, it was usual for teams to play on Saturday and Wednesday for weeks at a time with much smaller squads.Today, our overpaid prima donnas cannot manage Thursday and Sunday. Sir Bobby must be turning in his grave at the way we have just given up on European football.I think it is shameful.
