Tactics for City?

Anyone see anything other than Cole completely isolated up front, Valencia playing as a virtual wingback, and Kouyate our only threat out of midfield? I'd like to see Poyet start if only to give us some energy and some options coming out of defence, instead of constant lumps towards Carlton with the ball usually coming right back.

Pretty fearful about this one, only real straw to clutch at is hoping Valencia up front in a two as Cole is a much better player in a front two despite his physical stature he struggles up top on his own Valencia needs someone to play off as well.I think it will be Valencia and Downing wide though and to he honest I'm fearing a hammering and fully expect to have to watch Lampard giving it large when he scores. I just think we are desperately short of confidence at the moment, they are due a result

This is the game where I do not care one jot if we sit back and wait patiently defending to the hilt, Sam can be Sam and bore the hell out of the fans once more as far as i am concerned because unless you realy need a goal Man City will kill us if we try to attack.
What I think has been lacking unlike the bad results is professionalism The players have to do their job and as much as i want sam to go sometimes the players can actually make me feel for the manager and that as we all know is ridiculous.

still top though , we're be goin off to some far flung region of Russia on a Thursday night and arriving back Friday morning to knackered for a game on Sunday , still who gives a fiddlers fuck , we're in the Europa cup
