When Will We Be Safe

Looking at our opening fixtures the first 3 away game are Arse,Poo & Citeh....and our first 4 home games are bankable with two newly promoted sides in the mix.
So how many points should we be aiming for come the onset of autumn (Oct.), I'd think 12 at the minimum, but after that the book is open as to how we progress. Ideally the magic 40 mark will be reached over the Xmas break giving us a nice clear chance at some domestic silverware. So all I want for Xmas is 40 points and a decent day out at Wembley for my birthday in the New Year.

If we don't sign some more quality players then I think it's going to be an achievement to get the same position as last season, at the moment if Sakho gets injured or doesn't score like he did last season then we're in for a battle, it's also going to take the new manager a few games to bed in and get his ideas across, I can't see us having 40 points by Xmas

I like your challenging target to get 40 points by Christmas! Last year Chelski were top and Citeh in second place at Christmas, both on 39 points...

I have no idea, I'm rubbish at predictions, and too superstitious to say what games we will win etc. anyway, cus if I say we'll win certain games, we are bound to lose them! Think it will take a while, as Chippy says, for Bilic to get his ideas over; 4 years of one style of football isn't easy to change overnight. People will have to be patient... hahahahahaha... fat chance eh?
MY only prediction is that we will score more goals, and let more goals in!

We know no such thing. You said "overnight at the start of last season," it's you who have changed the argument is it not? We played some much better football, at times, last season, when our new signings gelled and raised our level, but for the vast majority of the season we didn't change our style or philosophy at all. Even in the great home wins against Liverpool and against Man City, we still spent large portions of the game defending, sometimes desperately; against City, for instance we had 30% possession, and far fewer shots or corners. Great wins they were, but let's not pretend we destroyed them.
