Why does Adrian think he has set a record by saving 3 consecutive penalties?

Just off the top of my head I can recall Rob Green saving 3 in a row in 2007 against Reading, Pompey and Spurs...

I wondered about that... don't know the answer, but I guess it does count as a saved pen, and the ball just goes back into normal play, even if it ends up in the net 2 secs later.

Your dead right Ger it caught me out mate!so adrian has equalled Rob Green’s three consecutive stops for west ham ,ive tried to find who holds the actual record stops on the spin in the prem does anyone know? i now see Allan McGregor has saved 3 in a row for hull also!
