Slaven is going for it. Do we have enough pace with Carroll starting? But with Carroll AND Emmenike, plus lanzini and Payet, that looks a potent attack force. And Obiang, Moses, Sakho and Enner on the bench -- looks very strong. COME ON YOU IRONS!!!

Not impressed with the balance of the team obiang should play. Not sure what Slavs trying to do with that team but there seems a total gamble to me with too mNy question marks. Is Reid fit enough is Randolph the right choice in such an important game and is Carroll quick enough? For me they all score a big no. I hope we don't blow it because Slav is trying to be a bit to clever.

I would say a draw and then pass the round at Upton Park, but I am very confident; We destroy them today! COYI

Surely with Palace, Everton and Watford all qualifying for the trip to Wembley, this our best chance in years to win the FA Cup - only Watford of those teams have beaten us this season. We have nothing to fear against Manure, so COYI!!

Seems like we will be the favourites if we win and after all the other results.
Yes Carroll lacks pace, but with Antonio and Emenike's work rate, and Payet, Noble and Lanzini's creativity it will be an entertaining match. Enjoy guys.

He set up Emenike brilliantly for what could have been an opening goal. Then Carroll's header should have hit the target with that great quality pass from Cresswell. West Ham always get better in the second half. So let's see if Payet and Lanzini can open up Man U.

Great effort by the Boys .. Payet's free Kick was good enough to Win any game .. I would probably have took a Draw before the start to be honest !

Definite foul on Randolph by Schweinsteiger. The biased commentators were going on about Payet's diving. The replay also clearly showed that he was caught by the defender's knee. We were hard done by that poor referee decision.

It showed Schweinsteiger run into Randolph and these two idiots were insisting that he was pushed into Randolph. What rubbish. We need Tony Gale to balance the commentary at Upton Park.

Can't agree more with Toronto fan and others who talk about the biased commentary. They were even saying that Payet dived for the foul on which he scored. Hardly had a good word to say about West Ham the entire match, they were so desperate for Manure to win it. Schweinsteiger CLEARLY fouled Randolph on their goal. Took him straight out of it. That goal should never have been allowed. And while there were unusually many bad calls in both directions, I do believe Manure got the better of it. Fellaini should have seen yellow for the elbow to Kouyate's face early on. Well, then, what now? Have we enough to beat a stronger Manure team at home? Surely we do. COME ON YOU IRONS!

Very disappointed with West Ham today. Think bilic and the team got it completely wrong! There is an old saying " never give a sucker an even break" and that's what we set out to do in this game! I could see it happening from the first kick. We gave a very poor manure team a chance by giving them to much respect playing that stupid keep ball deep in our own half inviting them on to us. We didn't play to our strengths and if we had picked our best team and played our normal way we would have coasted. Reid wasn't match fit and apart from a couple of glimpses of something from Carroll there was nothing. Nobody played well either. It's the most furious I've felt this season. At times we looked like an allardyce team. It was like bilic played for a draw when an easy win was on.

I think it was Manure who slowed the game down. We broke when we had a chance. I think we had three decent chances in the first half: Emmenike put through, Carroll header, Emmenike header. Had we been more clinical there, I think the match was ours. I will agree that we didn't play as well as we have very recently, but don't underestimate the talent of the team we were playing, at their place, with 72000 fans. The lack of a decision with Schweinsteiger's foul on Randolph is the game. We were never seriously threatened. But Manure are a different (and poorer) team away from home: 5-4-6 with -2 GD. If we don't take them at Upton Park then we only have ourselves to blame. Should be a great night out for the home fans.

I agree with the 3 chances but so many times we took extra touches or extra needless time on the ball just slowed the whole game down especially in the first half. Man U didn't slow the game we did. This was the worst Man U since before Ferguson. They offered next to nothing going forward so we could always have a base to start from. As far as I'm concerned our whole attitude to this game almost beat us and we would have deserved it. First half was a yawn fest I'd give us six for each player. We built things so slowly it was like watching Italian football. Bilic should have made changes at half time and more of them. This wasn't our best team or formation. In the second half we did build a bit quicker. But any decent team against Us and this would have been the one that got away.

Just got back from Old Trafford, I went with my Manure mate and his lad, It's the first time I've been for 25 odd years and then it was a rugby league test GB v Australia.

9,000 die hard hammer took over the top tier of OT, It's been a long while since my ears were hurt due to the singing that's how much noise we were generating ( also lost my voice ).
I'm looking forward to see what crap the tv pundits say on MOTD tonight. The first half was ( IMO) even stevens, the ref was shocking from what I saw ( 6 rows back from the top tier and forgetting my glasses ) didn't help.. As been mentioned Carroll lacked pace through out the game. Payet on another planet, I watched him practised his free kicks at the warm up session and he was no where near.I told the guy next to me he's got rid of his bad ones, and lo and behold his free kick when it mattered, you could feel the stand shacking underneath you. The one song I didn't sing with over 20 mins to go was Que Sera, Sera. We needed 2 goals to seal it but then it happened, I didn't see there goal till it was too and all the noise a few mins earlier you could hear a pin drop.
So it's a night match at the Boleyn, I'd love to go to it but in my case it's getting down to the big smoke after work and getting up for 5am the next day..After hearing the Gooners result I think whoever wins this tie has got to be favourite for the cup......COYI's

That moment when Lanzini headed (rebounded) to Payet who broke the length of the field -- the run was pulled up by Atkinson ... for what reason??? Payet was in possession, each of the players was trying to fend the other off, at no time did the Manc have possession ... I think it should have been play on ... OOOOOOOOH how I want revenge!!!
