Howe On Earth Could Hammers Get Him?

As the managerial tumbrel awaits collecting it's next victim, all the talk is not if, but when, Manuel Pellegrini's tenure at the London Stadium will come to an end, and more intriguingly who will replace him? Chris Hughton is currently the flavour of the day, but West Ham United covet Eddie Howe, Rafa Benitez and Sean Dyche are the other names in the frame but realistically aren't going to happen.

Word is that Pellegrini will be given until January to turn things round, that time frame allows him just one or two games where he can call upon the services of much missed goal keeper Lucasz Fabianski, instead of the calamitous Roberto Gago! It is assumed that some form of planning will already have been put in to motion regarding Pellegrini's replacement, but is the managerial role at the London Stadium such an attractive proposition that someone like Eddie Howe would want to uproot and join the 'madness' of the two Davids and the Baroness?

Howe has spent much of the last 25 years on the South Coast, including spells at Portsmouth as well as Bournemouth, he seems very content not only with his club, but also with the environment where he lives, which is rather splendid, anyone who knows the area will agree. Why swap all that for the Dome of misery and all it's baggage? Howe would have to be offered an incredibly attractive package to leave the Cherries, which quite frankly West Ham can't or won't afford.

Out of the other contenders Rafa Benitez would prefer to make a move to Everton once Marco Silva is given the heave ho, he still owns a house on the Wirral and so Mersyside seems his most likely destination. Chris Hughton has been out of work since being sacked by Brighton and is available, cheaply! This fact may make his appointment attractive to the Hammers hierarchy, but is he really the man to take the club forward, nice enough fellow that he is?

That leaves 'old gravel voice' himself, Sean Dyche, as a possible option, although the compensation package Burnley would demand would probably be prohibitive. If compensation has to be paid, surely Howe should be the target! - Ed

Chris Hughton, nice enough bloke, and i do think he is a decent manager, but he is Tottenham,i can here it now,it took a Yid to sort you lot out.I know it is getting drastic now,and things need to happen, but come on,who would want to take this on,especially if they are nice and settled in their clubs,to come to us,with the pornos, and that baroness mouth piece, and a shit team to boot.It dosent take a monkey to look at what we have to offer, and think there is no potential in going forward to win any silverware, let alone going up the league.Bournemouth,Burnley and the like have more fight, team spirit,to command any cup or league triumph, they would be better off where they are, much more promise than us,we are shit and we know we are,as the opposing fans keep telling us.To tell you the truth i cant see where the next win is for us,certainly not in the next two games, which will see us into the bottom three.

Like you say,why would Howe or dyche leave their nice settled lives to take up the poison chalice that is the westham managers job! to work with this board?hughton is the only 1 who would come & he would be cheap...like I said elsewhere 1 step forward 20 back!!

Pellegrini was brought in on a massive wage to take us forward!!this board are only interested in being in the prem & the rewards that go with it,imo they couldn't give a monkeys if we came 4th bottom every season..they are the reason why we will never move forward under their control.we might as well have a safe manager that can keep us up..Moyes,Allardyce,pulis or Hughton take your pick

Whoever is appointed we have the players to do the job they just need to have there backsides kicked big time and left in no doubt that any lack of effort will be punished swiftly the players need to no the man in charge will not take any of there Shit and its his way and his way only or they can do one in the reserves until they can be moved on it does not matter the name or there standing at the club Discipline needs to be instilled and backed up by everyone otherwise this lethargy around the playing staff will just keep continuing

Howe or Dyche would both be good appointments, with howe slightly ahead for me (I think he would suit what the fans want). Howe has proven that with little money he can play attractive, winning football. We would have to be patient though and gove him time. Dyche would keep us up for sure.

Thing is. Whoever we get, is someone elses reject. I genuinely think it will be Benitez, not cheap. But then that's down to the Dildos and the bint.

They've Jeffed it up so they'll have to pull up trees and splash the cash to unJeff it. They've made their bed so.....................

We have no spine, all the best teams have a spine of established hard working pro's. Our overpaid Carlos Kickabouts will never give you that!

Howe/Dyche/Benitez......but in reality its Hughton or Moyes with the latter being the boards choice! and if he agrees to return El Pel will be gone quickly

WE ain't gonna get him- but he would do a lot different, he would motivate the players, encourage them to play settle them down and try to install a bit of confidence Something that just aint happening with The dipstick, I reckon If you gave Anderson a boot up the Jacksy He would ask for a transfer still I don't think he would be much of a loss even with Lanzini injured.
