Yawn Yawn Decs 'Saga'-What's On The Other Channel?

The potential transfer of Declan Rice from West Ham has become something of a media circus that shows no sign of abating and quite frankly it is all getting a bit boring! Many years ago TV viewers did not have a thousand and one channels and box sets to choose from, they only had three!

Lack of choice was accepted by people until realistic alternatives could be acquired, so it is with regards to Dec's transfer. The player will be mightily embarrassed by how the situation is being dealt with by ALL parties concerned and probably cannot wait for a positive resolution, however when money talks loyalty often walks!

We are by no means inferring that Declan Rice is anything but a man of honour, far from it but regrettably when the sums of money involved are so vast there will always be a bit of fiscal skulduggery involved! So don't believe what you see and hear unless it comes directly rather than in a neat 'click bait' format that simply regurgitates the same story again and again.

When we receive some REAL news we will post, until then just enjoy the good weather and laugh out loud at some of the 'insider' information being put forward! - Ed

He won't get as much game time at City. He won't win anything at Arsenal. So both moves don't make much sense. He could run his contract down and leave for free and in the process, command a contract recuperating earnings far beyond any earnings " lost" by continuing his current contract out at West Ham. And it would be a poke in the eye to Sullivan as well.

But at the end of the day if you want proper loyalty get a dog!

My post doesn't even bring the loyalty aspect into it. I think we're all agreed, money isn't the issue here although West Ham could have agreed different terms to the alleged 200k a week contract imo such as a get out clause of X amount. He could go to City and gain lots of medals like Phillips, who actually only played 12 games all season so didn't actually EARN them. He could go to Arsenal and we could sing "Hey Declan Rice. Went to the Gunners and he won F*ck All."
I was truly saying, there is only one option (in my humble opinion) that really makes sense especially given that the only one with real pound notes flashing before his eyes is that ugly little squat gremlin who is the chairman who wants more money to plow into his beloved Cardiff City

With very word you say mate,I knew what this board was like the day they took over, granted they may or may not have saved us...that's debatable imo, they came out with so much shite it baffled the hardiest of Westham fans,I'm not going to say anything about David Gold now because I was brought up that you should never speak ill of people who've passed away.Maybe I'm going off on a tangent but Sullivans 'speech' the next day summed the clint up perfectly! My comment above is trying to say if Declan goes so be it we move on,we always have done! He may want to stay & I'll be the first to say I got it wrong about loyalty....but there's so much shite floating about none of us knows what's going on,I should say f*ck it,crack open another beer wait & see but Westham is probably my first love & always will be it means everything to me....sorry people I've had a beer & am probably ranting a bit lol

agree with the sentiment Deluded but IMO I think Rice would feature in over 50% of the City games, which is a lot when you are in a squad full of galactical stars!

Look at Grealish, before this season I thought he was over rated tbf,a good player but looking for the foul too easily in my book.Wow what a transformation,he's been one of their best players imo...let's hope southgate has the bollox to start him more for England....like you Dartford Rice's best option is going to citeh,we will be sad but as long as Sully is happy that's all that matters mate!!

Like Stirling before him, he is everything that is wrong with English football today, going down at the slightest touch to claim a foul which unfortunately with the modern interpretation of the definition of foul means a free kick. If City think he's so great then give us Foden and cash for Rice. Now THERE'S a player I could put up with at Hammers as compensation for losing Rice.

Totally agree. The through ball he gave in the CL semi for the last goal... delicious!!

if they threw in Foden in a deal with Dec we would have to add to the total, not by much but enough!

Now your talking,Foden....but would he come? Even though we are massive everywhere we go!

I think he is intrigued by Captain Scarlett and his mysterons and will end up there as the main man. As many people have remarked. This will drag on and on. Leaving us Jeff all time to get some other players in.....

Driving down the road and the other day and see Declans face on the Bus Stop, advertising Muller Rice,he wont go short will he,im all for people earning, but 200K a week offered to him to stay, adverts now aswell, obviously not enough, how about stay where you are Declan and fight with us to win again, after all we were the only london club to win anything this season, yes he will win something with City, but there isnt any guarantees with the Arse......We all have said what a lovely bloke he is,well in truth,he must feel we are not good enough for him.......I know im old school with old school loyalty, but there you go,ive worked hard for what i have, and stuck with those loyal on the way.

Being down under I keep up to date on news via YouTube etc. I hear this muppet on TalkShite droning on about Rice is not a great player worth X millions. The question is... is this the thoughts of a sad, jealous supporter of a little club with little ambition and a large chip on shoulder or... Just a real See You Next Tuesday?

I never used to take much notice of Brand, but he went up in my estimation with his support for the carpenters estate solid east end people in 2015.Its a brilliant debate,Russell Brand talking about his old man Ron busting a rib with his celebration!! That tosser Jordan tried to mock Brand about being in Marlow to celebrate, like he knows anything!! Russell Brand comes out-of Grays in Essex,a really tough area in the 70s & 80s....I was living in Basildon at the time & we knew well of Grays people, all Jordan could moan about was 'indesirables' as he put it in his poncey Mayfair restaurant...lol

I still havent seen it yet 65 but now REALLY looking forward to it!

Agree about Grays, in our time it was a serious Hammer Town.

Its a good point to debate maybe in a separate thread "Where is the REAL West Ham heartland?" I never thought Upton Park, in recent years, was our centre, too many "other" supporters in the area particularly recall seeing a load of Arsenal fans in The Queens, albeit very early doors on a Saturday, they were having a beer before heading to North London.. very odd! Also we had less "walkers" to UP and more by train, bus or car.

My family originate from Forest Gate, certainly in my Dads time, and in the 60's, was fierce West Ham, like the school my brother went too, St Bons, but today Im not so sure. I think Cunning Town is still "Loyal" but probably our heartland is Essex and specifically Hornchurch?

Undesirables!!lol never knew arsenal fans in the queen's blimey how things have changed!I've been in Essex for a long long time so I only really know of this area now ( have family still in Woodford/ Loughton)it is Westham heartland! I'd say every stop on the fenchurch & Victoria lines to Southend

I reckon Jordon probably isn't that bad tbf,he's on there to wind everyone up..it boosts ratings especially youtube,if Danny Dyer says he still loves him even when he is obviously wound up that says a lot for me!! Lol

I try & steer clear of topics on politics etc...especially FB, & twatter,if you read the vitriol, bias etc & you bite ( even if youve got a more than valid point) it can get nasty....its the modern day playground Brother

Surely Sully just goes back to Arsenal, with "pay this amount, or don't bother contacting me. Of course the little scroat is only thinking of himself so probably wants all cash up front so he can fuck off.

Harry has got over the years from hammers fans, just read a nice piece from him.Hes saying about the board should give him 250k a week, worth it imo but more importantly ( cos its not all about money) the club should go out & buy 3/4 new players,WE are a big club with 65k fans every week.i agree with him & have said it from the start match Rices's ambition.unfortunately I can't see it happening
