Unfortunately, Hammers always seem to get the 'bums rush' when it comes to fixtures against perennial over spenders and under achievers Manchester United. David Moyes takes his team to the club that sacked him, unfairly in many people's minds, fresh after they have just secured their 1st trophy in SIX YEARS!

No the Hammers manager hasn't embarked on a mind advancing programme, or an Estj based getting to know yourself while you are threatened with being thrown off a cliff weekend retreat course! We are discussing whether David Moyes really does need help, he is notoriously stubborn to the point of 'cutting his own nose off to spite his face'!

Fans leaving the as yet unnamed London Stadium were greeted with a sumptuous skyline that somehow reflected the mood perfectly, a beautiful rainbow filled the sky on a day when the club's fortunes changed for the good and the late great Bobby Moore's life and achievements were honoured.

Beleaguered Hammers manager David Moyes is probably sick to death of the 'advice' he has received in recent weeks, he notoriously plays his cards close to his chest and is 'singularly' minded to say the least!

However, it is widely known that Mrs Moyes is a regular reader of sports sites and passes on information that might be of help.

West Ham have been drawn to face AEK Larnaca in the UEFA Europa Conference League Round of 16, the Irons will take on the Cypriot side in a two-legged tie, with the first leg set to be played away on Thursday the 9th of March.

The Stratford Stadium will then play host to the return a week later, Premier League fixtures permitting ,as the club look to secure a second successive European quarter-final.

Times are tough for West Ham fans. Our Premier League season is in tatters, and we sit on the brink of relegation – third from the bottom! With just 20 points, we are right in the thick of the battle, and the only saving grace is that there are five or six teams in a similar situation.

Leicester City, Wolves, Everton, Bournemouth, Leeds, and Southampton are all on similar points, and we aren’t out of the EPL yet! With all this doom and gloom, we need something positive!

The Premier League has evolved into a global phenomenon. Sure, it’s a British footballing competition. However, the money involved, the excitement of the games, and the celebrity status of the players mean that it attracts attention from the four corners of the world.

This holds for our beloved West Ham too! When you think of West Ham, you traditionally think of East London and our native fanbase. The club has a deep history in London, and this is usually where most of our fans hail from.
