Thursday evening signified the night that West Ham would put to bed a 366-day statistic. West Ham’s victory against Leicester would mean we’d achieve our first back-to-back victories since last year February.

Potter started the game with an unchanged eleven, and with good reason.

Ollie Scarles retained his place in the lineup, and he wouldn’t disappoint throughout his appearance for an hour. Todibo also demonstrated yet again why we signed him in the first place; a confident, quick-minded defender is just what Potter needs. It all feels planned!

West Ham are entering the final quadrant of the season, and with that comes a summer window on the horizon, we had a ‘rebuild’ in the last summer transfer window, but this time we need to take over and form some identity within this squad.

It’s no hidden secret that we’ve spent big in these past three seasons across the last three transfer windows, we have spent a total of £402,100,000 but have clawed back £197,400,000, meaning our total spent has come to a total of £204,700,000 [rounded]
