In the sun today . Reading between the lines Big Sam is going nowhere if it's up to her . She said if Sunderland are looking for a high profile manger it won't happen if it's left up to her . Mmmm

Don't think it will be left up to her, she doesn't seem to know much about football. I still think our run in to the end of the season might well be decisive in whether G&S re-employ Sam or not.

When the manager debate surfaced last season , I remember Sullivan responding to some irate fans who were calling for his head ,asking them who is available.Some were calling for Malky Mackay ,Sullivan responded by saying 'what has he achieved ,can he take the club forward',or words to that effect.I don't think there are any doubts as to who the board will be targeting, a high profile name with a CV to back them up.Bielsa seems to be the standout name at the moment ,whether there is any truth in this story ,we probably won't know until the deal is all wrapped up.Remember the Martin O'Neill fiasco,a lesson learned.
