I am not expecting a win today. Hope Nene and Song play some part in this. Burke and Collins will have to be wary of Benteke.

to feeling very nervous about this start, Noble has to watch himself, he has already given the ball away plus 2 penalties.

Sam really has played into their hands with his negative team selection.

A very late charge, give it 85 minutes of turgid boring premiership football from West Ham whilst Aston Villa look rejuvinated and brilliant they attack attack attack, and then we will steal it, well a draw right at the death .

Well it can truly be said now Westham have lost their way this season, these performances are not every now and then they have become regular since christmas.Boring and uninspiring the team have become and it is all down to our fantastic manager. If the board keep this guy on then it is going to be more of the same, because the guy hasn't got the ability to change games .All he seems to do is wind the fans up even more with clueless substitutions and persisting with a style that doesn't work. People joke about fans thinking they know better, but the truth is most of us could do a darn sight better job than Allardyce. He has managed to turn a top 6 team into a team in relegation form in no time.

I agree with bringing on Nene and Song and taking off Nolan but why the fuxxxxx take off Amalfitano. He at least was trying, I would have taken off Noble or Downing.

yeah alby, i wrote the above at half time before the subs were made.He actually made 2 sensible substitutions for once. But he puts Nene on the wing, the blokes a goal scorer,he should have been up front with Valencia.Allardyce actually brought in Downing second half from the wing and played him in the middle, there was an improvement in performance as a whole but still lacked any teeth up front.Villa far better pass and movement played at a higher tempo. The first half performance was abysmal using that 4-5-1.

That's true, but he should've given Amal a slap and told him to be a good boy, and taken Downing off instead, the boy is a total wuss!

Theres definitely more belief in the squad in the 2nd half, look a lot more up for it. Maybe tgats Downings problem. I would.of thought Amalfitano got a slap on the wrist when he got sent off v West Brom or whoever it was - he should of learnt his lesson!

The game is being shown on the Premier Channel, so have to watch it on my tablet. Poor quality streaming on atdhe.eu. Is there a better site? Meanwhile watching Stoke v. Tottenham on the HD channel and Spuds are getting thumped while down to 10 men. Have we improved with the substitutions?

Much better second half. Not saying we deserved anything, but if we had played that way for the whole game we would have deserved a point at least. This is what Sam doesn't see, that attacking football is likely to gain you more points than "respecting the point" all the time.

Yes we played much better in the second half, but why does it ALWAYS take us to concede a goal for us to play well? We're constantly chasing games

Just got back from villa park with my boys. We were terrible. Yes Song and Nene made a difference but there was just no real effort or desire to win. The goal was definitely offside I was sitting right in line with it and as soon as the ball went in I looked straight down to the linesman expecting the flag to be raised. The ease with which Villa walked through our defence for the goal was embarrassing. Thank god there is only 2 more games to go and let's hope allardyce is replaced by someone with a bit of get up and go who can inspire our players. Like the look of Reece Burke :-)

i only saw the last 20 mins of this one , but what i did see was a team disinterested , they couldn't give a gooses shite , anyone tells me that this team has belief in this manager is only fooling themselves , what a season , fourth at one point and now i think its become obvious to a lot of fans that if it wasn't for the smashing form before Christmas we would indeed be in serious trouble at this stage

Just seen his after match interview. As usual there were a couple of bad refereeing decisions (which the ref got right) and no criticism of himself (i.e. playing his boyfriend YET AGAIN).
The thing that struck me most was his complete disinterest and lack of passion that we'd lost.
He should have gone MONTHS ago !!!!
