The Hammers have stepped up their interest in Dylan Lawler from Cardiff City who’s a central defender. He has many strong skills to his game but one that stands out is his confidence. For Cardiff, there have been numerous occasions where he’s been able to go for a last-ditch challenge or he’s been able to pick up the ball and drive it forward.
It is thought that Dylan Lawler would be one of the two central defenders that the Hammers aim to bring in this window, with the other being more experienced, specifically Axel Disasi, who the club are still holding out for.
However, whilst West Ham are interested, Lawler has received interest from more than 10+ clubs, one of which is Bayern Munich, therefore making the deal rather complicated, especially since Cardiff are hoping for a bidding war to commence rather than merely accepting West Ham’s current offer on the table which hasn’t yet been rejected.
West Ham have also offered Konstantinos Mavropanos a new contract in the hope of convincing the Greek to stay during the Championship, and fend off the current interest from Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.
Max Kilman is set to stay at West Ham, despite the club’s efforts to get rid of the Englishman by placing him on the market for a move away permanently or on loan - nobody has registered interest.
With two senior defenders at the club currently, West Ham want to add two more, but the clocks ticking, offers are in but will they come up short?
