Tim Steidten went from having his own chants to being released of his duties come January time, but his business over the years could now, in hindsight, be described as mediocre.
The deals completed over his time at the club were also regarded as ‘strange’ according to people inside the club, the way deals were completed as well as his prolonged absences, but looking past the way deals were done, the Hammers are seriously considering selling Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham Hotspur.
There are talks of a fee in the range of £70,000,000, which is what the Hammers would like, but Spurs are more comfortable with a figure in the £50,000,000 range. We can all see where this is going, can’t we…?
Mohammed Judus is said to be “open to Spurs”, and his agent is describing him as “eager” for the move.
With a move to Saudi Arabia off the cards, as well as other clubs dropping out of the race, Spurs seem like the only club holding a serious interest in Mo, and an official bid is expected to come in soon as the official transfer window opens today.
Thomas Frank holds high admiration for him, this isn’t a rumour that’ll just flow down the river. Business with Spurs could happen for the first time in over a decade, but they’ll have to pay up if they seriously want the Ghanaian international.

Smoke and Fire etc
But this one could have legs. I wouldn't say no to Madison or Solanke as part of any deal.
I don't want Kudus going to Spuds, not because of any anti Spud agenda but purely because I think he will thrive under Frank unlike a static, one minded manager such as Potter. I will be watching Spuds with a tad more interest next season thinking "if only"
As in "if only" we had
As in "if only" we had someone at the top that had half a brain and gave a shit about the club?? As much as I dislike Levy I'd take him over midget porn dwarf any day of the week
Kudus
Well i think he has two more years on his current deal so if the board are seriously going to sell him to that lot then the money has to be right for us not them and if IF they do not front up with a proper bid then keep him whether he wants to stay or not and if that means we cannot buy anyone as is the mantra coming from the board so be it.
Aguerd is the same he is refusing to come back he does not want to be here but he expects to get paid? really well get your backside back here and stop bleating you big girls blouse i for one am so sick of players like this who hop from one place to another because they don't feel at home or the manager has used naughty words to hurt there feelings.
Well said BG
But footballers do not live in the real world we all no that and we are not the only club to be held to ransom by mercenary players and there agents.....Sullivan and the board would be surprised at how much support they would get if they bought these players to heal and point out you signed a contract you are an employee you will do the work you are tasked to do and you are going nowhere....but of course football never has or will work like that so this summers drama will just fade into the memory as only those who take to the pitch wearing our shirt matter to me those that are gone are gone and good riddance.
If I'm honest. I don't think
If I'm honest. I don't think Kudus has ever got the whole West Ham ethos. He only ever saw us as a stepping stone to a Champions League club. Easy for me to say as he's on his bike it seems. But it's true. He's just the next in a long line of players who move on once they've outgrown us.
Unfortunately mercenaries in football now are far to commonplace. Kudus is a bad one though. Going to Spurs and being hated by us for the rest of his playing days. Means nothing to him. So he can go and join the likes of Paul Ince and Jermain Defoe. We will have to get full beans for him though, if the Spuds want him.
Bubblegirl is right, you are an employee, you play and train or we wont pay you. Go on strike like Payet did at least we won't have to pay you.
Why does this shit always happen to us???
It always happens to us as
It always happens to us as our owners are retards and seem to think one trf window of spending money means you neglect the next 3
I somewhat disagree Boogers.
I somewhat disagree Boogers. I think Kudus is actually doing us a favour. I think we had the best off him in his first season. He may start well for Spurs. But he will soon be an also ran. Look at his performances for Ghana. He rarely has a good game and is slaughtered by the Ghanaian fans on a regular basis. Yes. On his day he is great. But there are 365 days in a year & he has about 3.
So for me. Sooner this deal is done the better. But just incase he does do well. How about inserting a sell on clause.
That would require thought a
That would require thought a foresight. Something Sully doesn't have a clue about
What........ just Pounds 54.5
What........ just Pounds 54.5 Million agreed with Spuds? West Ham should have stood firm with Pounds 65+ Millions. Guess this may come to haunt us if he scores against us!!
I thought the release clause
was £85m.
