West Ham United face Wolves tomorrow night in a fixture that ultimately decides the season entirely.
It unfortunately isn’t tough for Hammers fans to peel back their mind to the first game of the new year, where we were decimated 3-0 by Wolverhampton Wanderers, gifting them their first win of the season. At that time, many believed our survival hopes were little to none, and we were facing a slow and painful relegation.
The gap at one point seemed impossible to close, but with just seven matches of the season left, the gap is now just a lone point.
Nuno was forced to play a weaker side in the FA Cup due to injuries, but against Leeds, he has already confirmed in his press conference that everyone is available, so we should be set to see West Ham’s strongest starting line-up start on Friday night. Given our track record, at 18:45, we should expect to see a 4-4-2 formation being played with Pablo and Taty up top, Bowen and Summerville on the wings, with everyone else returning to normal.
Before any other twitchy nerves occur whilst watching Nottingham Forest & Spurs on a Sunday with Leeds playing on a Monday, Friday is all that currently matters for Nuno’s side.
It’s the type of game that the Hammers tend not to usually win based on our track record, but the results of our past have to be forgotten about, given the situation we now find ourselves in. Without walking away with all three points in our favour, it will be a long, dark wander through the remainder of the tunnel.
The boys have got a whole world to prove after our grim exit in the FA Cup, and heading into the London Stadium once again just five days later, our positivity has to start on a high note, otherwise that’ll summarise the tone from minute one.
Nuno once claimed that it is not the West Ham fans who need to provide support to us, they don’t owe us anything. It is us on the pitch who have to prove it to them. - This is what fans hope to look forward to. Now’s the time to prove it, Nuno, it’s now or never.

Weve thought it,weve wondered it,as we all watched and said a couple of months back that we are gone, but yes we seem to have clawed back the hope again, but tomorrow night really is the deadline, lose it and we are certainly gone.
