At the end of the 2024/25 Premier League season, there was a lot of talk about signings, coaching staff, and players leaving. Since time has now passed, the club have decided not to renew Lukasz Fabianski's contract, as well as release Xavi Valero as a goalkeeper coach to replace him with two others. The first of which being confirmed as Linus Kandolin, the 34-year-old has been poached from IF Elfsborg, where he'd spent over half a decade and before that worked with Graham Potter previously at Ostersunds FK for three years.
However, ain't no point in having a goalkeeper coach with no goalie!
The club have been identifying targets and started to make moves with the following four players being the ones most considered: Mads Hermansen, Aaron Ramsdale, Robert Sanchez and most recently, Zion Suzuki.
The club's primary two targets of those four are Mads Hermansen from Leicester and Zion Suzuki from Parma.
Hermansen has been a player that West Ham have been monitoring since the end of the season, with a £12,000,000 price tag expected to be enough for the Danish international he's been high on the watch list, however, Zion Suzuki offers an opportunity that Sulky Sull has been desperate for which is the Asian market, despite being born in the USA, the 6'3 keeper originally comes from Ghana and Japan and chooses to officially represent Japan as his choice of nation due to being raised there.
Talks have already been going on for the pair of them, with Suzuki taking the 'top target' title for the moment and with reasonable personal terms and a reasonable requested fee on the table, the club anticipate that this transfer could move very quickly due to how eager the board and Potter are to have this deal over the line.

Though Areola is not the
Though Areola is not the greatest keeper. Plus he does drop the occasional bollock. He has saved us on numerous occasions. Yes we need an upgrade but for me. It's not a priority. The funds allocated for a Keeper need to be diverted to a Striker.
Also. Sullivan favours Suzuki. That is probably due to being £6m cheaper than the Leicester stopper Hermansen. Personally. I woukd prefer Hermansen. Proven Danish International. Proven in the Premier League. Proven to know how yo play with a shit back 4 in front of him.
When you say
Areola has saved us on many occasions. Do you mean he makes a save which you'd expect a goalkeeper to be doing anyway?
We've had some scummy goalkeepers at West Ham in the past, thankfully few and far between, and Areola is in the mix along with Calamity James, McKnightmare, Roberto and Merve the Swerve
if we are going for Suzuki
Is his agent Barry Sheene!
If Sheen was his agent.
If Sheen was his agent. Sullivan would love that. Woukd not have to pay an agent's fee
Everyone knows abscess makes
Everyone knows abscess makes the fart go Honda!! Not Suzuki ....
