David Moyes will know by later today the full extent of Kurt Zouma's injury once the centre back has had a scan on his knee which he injured during yesterday's thrilling 3-2 victory over London rivals and European Champions League winners Chelsea.
The ridiculous amount of games ALL clubs are having to play will inevitably cause players to pick up more injuries than would be normal, losing Angelo Ogbonna was massive, that injury was swiftly followed by losing Aaron Cresswell and now Kurt Zouma AS WELL AS young Ben Johnson.
Word is that Zouma could be out for a minimum of THREE weeks! We have been banging on about why Moyes has not been playing Diop, that is academic now as the club only have Diop and Dawson as recognised first team centre backs. Jamal Baptiste has been championed by Ogbonna as a future first team player and despite his tender years, he may well find himself facing up against players he only dreamt about as he was growing up!
The injuries sustained thus far were inevitable, hopefully Hammers can 'lurch' through until the January window when they will be able to bring in a couple of new faces and one that is already well known to players and fans in the form of Jesse Lingard. - Ed

As Bamber Gascoigne used to say
Thats your starter for ten! now Lanzini seen limping away ffs but Moyes and players been lucky so far with injuries but now its coming back to bite us on the bum thats for sure!.
That's what comes with being
That's what comes with being successful, unfortunately we are a very small squad ,let's hope the cheque book comes out ,in January
If it hadn't been for those two injuries.
We wouldn't have beaten Chelsea. They forced Moyes hand, thank God
Agree
Deluded
typical
been reading that the magpies are trying to sign Lingard i think he is the only player worth having in the january sales !!!!!
Will he want to go there
Will he want to go there though to play Championship football???
They are willing to pay
They are willing to pay Lingard some very big bucks to make him their highest paid player.
Moreover Newcastle are also willing to meet ManU's evaluation even though he has just a few months left on his contract.
and I guarantee he will look
and I guarantee he will look great in a Championship side, not sure about his England ambitions, joining West Ham, top 4/5/6 team, in Europe etc etc would be a shoe in. But, if its only about the money then good luck to him. I still think he's one of the best footballers ever to wear our shirt... in league with Tev, Payet etc etc... Game changers!
I would be surprised
He goes to the Geordies instead of us,unless as our friend Dartford says its all about the money! Hope he comes back he adds goals, something we need
England
I think 65 he still has ambitions with England. There's a lot of great kids on Southgate's radar that would be well ahead of a player at Newcastle fighting to avoid relegation. He joins in Jan, cements top 4,5 or 6th position, have a good Euro impact in the knock out stage and hopefully still in the ELC and the FA Cup... just screams Pick Me Now Gareth!!!
Spot on
