Irons Poor Form Helps Striker Option

In the last few days ExWHUemployee confirmed that the Irons were very interested in Chelsea's Armando Broja, we have already covered some of the options available for the the 20 year old but specified Southampton’s position as a big obstacle to David Moyes’ chances of landing the player.

A combination of developments might just have aided Hammers pursuit of the Albanian striker, firstly Southampton have distanced themselves from discussing any permanent deal and secondly that Chelsea have concluded that West Ham are not a 'clear and obvious danger' to their Premier League aspirations and therefore, unlike Manchester United are NOT afraid to sell to one of their London rivals.

Ironically had it not been for Hammers' form dropping off the cliff during December, Chelsea would definitely NOT have sanctioned a deal involving Armando Broja going to Stratford, whereas now West Ham are being seen as a good destination for him to go to ON LOAN!

We have heard that there is a possibility of a long term loan, something that is fairly common place in Europe but rarely occurs over here. Whatever the terms available, it would be a God send to have a young, fit and eager to showcase their talents striker to arrive and freshen things up and bringing the sort of energy Jesse Lingard did when he arrived on loan from Manchester United last January. - ED

On the subject of Lingard I've been saying he's nailed on for the Toon. But it seems Manure have slapped a ridiculous loan clause in the deal at an astronomical fee. Which the Toon are not prepared to pay. Maybe he could come here after all.....??
