Javier A Cigar Now It's Got Over The Line Two Davids

Just like watching the last few home games last season, there had been some degree of stress with regards the impending arrival of Javier Hernandez at the magnificent London Stadium. Until the official site www.whufc.com had actually confirmed the signing there are those of certain years with long memories who would not believe the signing until it was thoroughly and irrefutably done and dusted! Even if the official site confirms it (remember Yossi Benayoun). only when the Mexican media go 'purple' will we know everything is rosy in the claret and blue garden.
On the subject of the Mexican and Northern American media, now the transfer has gone through successfully West Ham United's presence will sky rocket (no pun intended), according to our dear old northern american correspondent our fan base has just exploded! If he doesn't suffer the traditional injury on debut curse, Hernandez could become a funky mexican super hero of the east end, you can bet your hat on it. At last the two Davids just about kept their mouths shut until the deal was done, and they are being repaid for their silence in spades- Ed

Good post Nev. Now SUGO have opened up the can of worms now, shoved it up all those that doubted them, so why not keep going? All the rhetoric about empty promises blah blah blah, lots of premature ejaculating over every news feed or ITK. "I have it on good authority" blah blah. SUGO, get the Ox and Wilshere they're both better than what we have. Blade too from Lazio, sod it another RB for Dumb and Dumber on here, they reckon three RBs is the norm these days! Kota from Brentford is an amazing prospect. I'd also pick up Negredo to play the bit part that Carroll cant play anymore. Come on isn't this why we moved?

The summer was going the same as usual. Can't blame us for thinking the past predicts the future. But SUGO have done some good business now, together with Slaven. On paper at least, adding Hart, Zabaleta, Arnautovic and Hernandez has improved us across the board. I can't help thinking that fan discontent was like a rising tide that forced SUGO's hand: I am dead sure that the wages they agreed to for all these players is more than they wanted. And they will believe they've made a rod for their own back (and perhaps they have), when they need to raise wages of Lanzini and Antonio to keep pace. But all things considered, this is a move in the right direction. I would say a top ten finish is a genuine prospect now, and we could be competitive for 6th-8th, where all-important European prospects potentially lie. Hard as it is to go through qualifying rounds, it's the next step -- We HAVE to progress. Solidification in the top 8 should be the next goal; a possible cup victory would be icing on the cake. Well done SUGO.

If he sets up properly and uses subs wisely we could find ourselves up there with nosebleeds a plenty.
Getting the feeling like the last season at the Boleyn. Very exciting season ahead... COYI

Zaba was free, Arnautovic massively overpriced. Yeah they've spent money for once. Hardly cause for excitement though Chico could be our new Payet. Played correctly this could be an average mid table team. Can't see Bilic playing them correctly though.

Go on I'll bite mate, I feel a bit sorry for you throwing all these lines out all day and nobody nibbling. I take it by the photo your still an Allardyce man? Even though he f***ed the England job, through sheer vanity and gave up on Palace after he realised lower half Prem team was as good as it would ever get again for him. I take it your not a Bilic fan either? Well I think a lot of us are still waiting that one out. I don't think he was he;per last year by the transfers, so this year he has no excuse. As for Hart I think he's our best signing. There's nothing like a wounded animal to fight back. He's a big head for a start, banging Katie Price, shampoo commercials etc... He would have taken a big hit ego wise form this Guardiola situation. I think he'll come back in a World Cup year with something to prove. That can only be good fro us. Arnautovic is better than Feghouli, Tore and Snodgrass IMO so can't see a issue with that one. Zbalitta is a stop gap for another year or two, with a wealth of experience to help Byram, can't see an issue wit that either, ion fact even better he's free. Would you have been happier if he cost £10 million? I'd rather we spent that £10 million on another prospect like Jota, but each to their own.

These are my personal opinions and I'm entitled to them ad a fan of over 52 years. Yes, I was a fan of Sam and what he did at England or Palace has no bearing on my opinion that he was the best man for the job and should have been allieed a season at the OS at least. Yes I am no fan of Bilic and posts on here show that I was not alone in my exasperation and frustration with his team selections, tactics and not least, his purchases in summer and January windows. Hart is no better or worse than Randy ir Adrian and as seen at Torino, finds it no so easy playing behind questionable defences as opposed to the relative safety of megabucks City or an International team against inferior oppositions. I like Arnautovic. He aint 23 million quids worth and has worse statistics than Snoddie last sesson ,albeit by a whisker. I reiterate, I did not post for a nibble. More for reading how excitable the Org is getting over a few questionably necessary signings ( Chici apart)

Incoming:
Jan:
Snodgrass - 10M
Fonte 8M
Summer:
Zabaleta - Free
Hart - Loan (£5M fee)
Arnautovic - 23M
SPEND: £46M

Out:
Jan:
Payet - 25M
Summer:
Valencia - 7M
Norveit - 7M
Randolph - 5M
Tore, Calleri, Arbeloa, Hendrie, Spiegel - all ended, therefore wages saved.
Money received: 43M

Net spend circa £3M.........

Sale of Boleyn: Bit cloudy but land estimates suggest £25M
Rent of OS per season compared to gate receipts- I'm going to be conservative and say we're £10M up on the deal there
And then the little matter of £121.9M for finishing 11th last season.

Now I'm not great at maths, but I think its fair to say I'm not going to licking the behinds of the owners. Unless its Brady, I'd make an exception for her.

I think the Bond scheme banner still applies to many of the "deals" these 2 make. Lying, thieving, cheats.

They are still in Surplusville. So let's hope that they sign one more good striker, at least. One thing about the sale of Randolph: are they expecting to buy Hart next season? If not, then GK is another position we'll need to fill again.

I was told by one of you G&S were getting 7%. But I think all the supporters are in debt to them, this is the best transfer window we have ever had so get behind ur team and enjoy the ride. The only thing that worries me is we get caught on the break and Arnie and chico dont run back I still think this is the best business i've seen in 55 years in supporting The hammers. We ain't Chelsea Man City Or any of the big money clubs we are West Ham but if we make deals like this next season who knows, all I know is that I'm a very Happy Hammer and U lot should be as well We will soon find out how good we are when we play Citeh in Iceland or is Tesco's I forget, all I know is with this team we dont fear anybody they are all dooable watched Lookako and Pogba against real madrid I reckon we can beat Munure with our new team they were just that - CRAP
