Lampard Dumped By Chelsea

Frank Lampard's 18 month tenure as Chelsea manager has come to an end following a run of dismal results, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, known for his lack of patience with managers, has pulled the trigger on the ex-Hammers' managerial stint half way through his original three year contract.

Lampard's dismisal and Chelsea's lamentable recent form might just have something to do with buying duds from the Bundesliga, hot on the heels of Hammers wasting the best part of £30 Million in losses on Sebastien Haller, Chelsea, not wishing to be outdone by 'ittle ol' West Ham, outstretched themselves with the recruitment of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz for a combined totalof in excess of £116 Million, they too have both proved to be as ineffective as 'Le Sulk', Haller.

That old chestnut of an expression comes to mind, be careful what you wish for, you might just get it! - Ed

As much as I enjoy seeing Chavski implode i think it sums out what a horrible shower they really are. Sacking their Club Legend is as bad as the shocking treatment handed out by the Cairns, Brown etc to the late great Bobby Moore who was asked to pay for his seat at in a half empty UP at a bleak midweek match.

Everyone know I hate Chelsea more than any other club in the land. It all stems from the mid 70's. Having tear ups with Babs eccles and Kojak and their muppets. Wouldn't piss on anyone from that club if they were on fire...

How's Frank gonna reinvent himself now to manage again?
He's spent so long disassociating himself from West Ham, that he has become a true blue blood. It was always going to end in disaster as it's ALL about success over there. If you spend the money that he's been spending, everyone from the chairman to the supporters expects success on the field. Add to that the media, and you have a real pressure cooker environment. Most of their supporters have no real allegiance to Frank because they feel they have the right to get the best on the field... So, it goes with the territory.
I've NEVER liked Chelsea and they were probably my first dislike (not to put a too finer point on it), as I knew too many of them growing up. Arrogance-Meter?...off the charts.
But this sacking also has its silver lining, Declan if ever he was interested in going to Chelsea, has now seen what an abattoir looks like, cold and emotionless... but it's JUST business.
Twinned with Frank's need to get a quality player to Chelsea was probably a hidden smirk knowing full well the impact that it would have on us as a club. Let that be a lesson to whoever should follow Frank....steer clear of our Declan as the management at Chelsea weren't convinced that he was required.

My first dislike is Spurs through and through, bar none.I think Frank has more than burnt his bridges with us,and Declan would waste his time going to them, staying with us he would be a legend.

And you all thought that the spud fans could whinge....that bunch of detestable sherbert dips deserve everything they get.....spend money like its going out of fashion and regard themselves so much better than anyone else....As for Fat Frank he thought he was the dogs yet he could not get Derby promoted and fell in at right time because of there transfer embargo...we got a top academy and do not need to buy to be successful so the kids got a chance soon as the embargo was lifted bam out came the big bucks showing they don't care about there academy in any way shape or form.....pathetic excuse for a club i hope it all crumbles down around there ears.

it's hard to have any sympathy for frank exactly as you said bikeman lets give the youngster a chance and sh-t on them and spend mega bucks on players which fail to make the grade, and i think their best players have been the very kids he sh-t on hope they finish in the bottom 6

I sometimes wonder how long fans can continue to hold a grudge. Lampard was a wonderful product of the Hammers academy and his old man an absolute legend. When he left the Hammers there were clearly things going on that upset him .., he wouldn’t be then first nor the last. He was a great player, one of the best ever. Served England brilliantly .., it’s time to move on and recognise him as the outstanding player and that individual he was ... DeFoe and Ince as well probably... I’m sad he was sacked ... he needed more time like Olly has been given ... but that’s the nature of the game.
