Campo, Anelka, Djorkaeff, weren't players to sniff at at Bolton and I suppose Downing, Joe Cole, Alex Song and Zarate with us were carthorses were they? Even tried to give a certain Ravel Morrison a second chance which was a shame it didn't come off. Those names are just off the top of my head btw.

Joe Cole,downing,song & zarate were all in their prime when they came to us!! Cole & downing were looking for a last pay packet,song was pretty good at times & so was zarate but if I remember rightly he used to give his team mates the right hump with his greediness & lack of finishing....but hey ho you still bang the Sam drum

We played some good football but we will need to take advantage of the home ground next week. They have some good players and Campos was a big worry but he will miss next weeks game so that’s good. I thought Lanzini had a terrific game and looks back to his best which is probably why he is in the Argentinian squad again. Fornals and Vlasic never stopped running and Ant was his usual pain in the arse for the opposition. Onward and upward next week.
