Cruel ending ! We deserved

Cruel ending ! We deserved something from this game with the second half display but were totally outclassed in the first 45. I can imagine a few weary legs after and away Euro tie but surely not a home one and the rotation that has worked in the cup ties has not been so hot in the EPL. We have a lot of players on international duty and that is going to take its toll as we had a few lads in the latter stages of the Euros followed by a heavy league and further international matches. Time I think to give our internationals a bit of time off methinks. Or look how other top clubs handle the similar situations.

Cannot understand why there were no substitutions. Not enough faith in the talent on the bench. Cruel ending for what should have been at least a draw.
