The Hammers were previously targeting Manor Solomon, but the deal with the Tottenham Forward has ground to a halt due to ‘financial difficulties’ - West Ham were happy to offer £5m for the forward but, in the end, couldn’t agree an additional fee with Spurs. Whilst all seems normal, the reality is that we were happy to pay more initially, but due to the backlash from a large portion of the fanbase, the club have opted against the deal from happening.
To add further woes, Keiber Lamadrid picked up an injury which will see him out for 3-4 weeks, and Maxwell Cornet isn’t to Nuno’s liking, meaning that West Ham will head to the London Stadium tomorrow with no left-winger. A likely short-term fix will be playing Malick Diouf in the attacking role, which he sometimes played for his former club, Sparta Prague, or Taty Castellanos could take the winger role.
With Manor Solomon off the cards, West Ham will now turn their attention to Simon Adingra of Sunderland. It seems that West Ham have offered a loan proposal with an obligation to buy, but Sunderland would prefer the instant cash as they’re in the Europa League and would like to retain their reinforcements - it should be noted that nothing has yet to be rejected.
The Ol’ Arne Engles saga is continuing and is nowhere near the ‘Engoal’. Complications with the fee keep arising, and Celtic would ideally like to keep him for their Champions League qualification game.
The only other close activity that is around the corner is yet another exit! Everton have agreed personal terms with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and are now close to agreeing a fee with West Ham.
This will likely be completed in the coming days, as Wan-Bissaka no longer wants to remain.

Bit Worrying
Why are we quibbling over a couple of million quid whenwe need a replacement for Summerville and Solomon looks like a good replacement. We have had 165 million in transfer fees, and all this that the take over will not affect the day to day running of WHU is a load of rubbish if you look at it from another angle selling Fernandes, Sommerville and Potts could be seen as asset stripping because we have bought nobody! Made a big thing about Joel Feltman our first big signing whats he cost? he's on a free WHU 1st big signing so whats happening, supposed to have a cash injection from DK, he paid off a Barclay bank loan so where is the rest going? and you know why this is ??? until the board gets sorted out DK does not want to put his hand in his pocket until he knows whats happening and where he's going which has got me wondering what sort of a start we are going to get in 8 days when the new season starts, and how its going to affect the players and the fans this could all turn out to be a crock of SH*T
