Hammers on off pursuit of Bournemouth striker Joshua King seems to have gone on for ages, but any hopes of a last minute transfer deadline day deal to bring the Norwegian to the London Stadium seem to have been dashed by David Moyes, despite the Hammers manager being a big fan of the 29 year old.
Pre-Covid Hammers had shown great interest in king, however Bournemouth priced a move out of the market by their valuation of the player's worth, in fact it is not that long ago that they turned down a £20 Million plus offer from Manchester United for his services.
Times have changed and now, King has entered the last part of his contract and is permitted to 'negotiate' a pre-transfer deal with suitors, cue Hammers interest in him again? Well, not exactly, the two stumbling blocks are that Jesse Lingard has arrived on loan, on top wages and that King's wage demands are considered to be 'excessive' in the current climate.
Of course in an ideal world the Hammers hierarchy would pull the signing of king 'out of the bag' just before the close of the transfer window, unfortunately it is not an ideal world and the Hammers hierarchy are NOT ideal!...... -Ed

I don't understand why we
I don't understand why we brought Lingard in, when Anderson could have been brought back from his loan. Technically and talent-wise he's one of the best in our squad - just needs a rocket up the arse from Moysey. Give him one last chance, and tell him "you've got 6 months to prove you can play here". See what happens. Would make more sense I think - without the pressures of relegation maybe he'd hit that 1st season form again. 10 goals from the wing is something Fornals can't offer.
Anderson is another haller
Anderson is another haller, his passing and work rate was hopeless, thats why he was farmed out.
Anderson is not doing too
Anderson is not doing too well at Porto. Hardly any game time. West Ham will look to offload him in the Summer. I agree that as the West Ham squad is one of the slimmest in the Premier Division, then Anderson should have been recalled just in case there are the usual severe injuries. Pity he could not replicate his form that he achieved in the first season with the Hammers. But Moyes should have put him through a rigorous drill like he did with several of the present squad. Well the window has closed, and yet again more players have been been shown the exit doors. Clearly it looks like Yarmalenko will deputize for Antonio in the lone centre forward role. That just does not make any sense. I think that Bowen would thrive in that role. He has the pace, though he was a bit lack a daisy against Liverpool especially in the second half.
No striker equals no ambition
no matter what Moyes does it just goes to show that the owners don’t give a shit about the club as long as where not relegated. How are we supposed to get to their promise of European football when they hold the purse strings so tight.

After all that, Everton
After all that, Everton nabbed Josh King - they've already got Calvert-Lewin scoring goals for fun and now King in reserve. I think Lingard was a bad move, hope to be proved wrong
It appears to make no sense
It appears to make no sense what so ever having no replacement for Haller and a brittle Beast. Another midfielder looks crazy but... I would have said exactly that regarding Dawson, we had more center backs than you can shake a stick at but he is proving to be a very shrewd loan signing! personally I will give Jesse the benefit of the doubt. Hes style of play is attacking and prepared to run at the defence and makes him the obvious replacement for Fornals. Benny, Bowen and Lingard... who says The Moyessaih doesnt like attacking football!!!
No replacement for Haller?
A tailors dummy would have done the job!!;)
Most definitely so 65.
Most definitely so 65,no replacement Dartford, just shows how much we missed him lol.
Lol... you boys just loved
