Firstly, before we get to the contentious issue as to whether the lack of fans at the incredibly ill-suited and unpopular London Stadium, has helped Hammers reach the lofty heights of a what is currently a genuine top four place in the Barclays Premier League, we have to mention that West Ham have accrued 21 points so far this season away from home, which included six victories!
At home, West Ham have a points tally of 24, second only to Manchester City in the entire league, but it is only three points better than the away form and one less match has been played at home, essentially the home and away form of the team is identical with regards to points returns, so to say that the team have been performing better at home as opposed to away is farcical.
The fact is, David Moyes's team have been incredibly consistent, as the points tally bears out, so all the pundits and observers, particularly those who should know better and are 'close' to the club, who thought they could whip up a bit of negativity with regards to the club and it's progress, might wish to look back to the situation just twelve months ago that the club found itself in, and ask themselves do the fans matter to the team? You bet they do! - Ed

Looking for excuses
In my experience if fans had been allowed in they would have loved watching westham this season,we only like a moan because its been mainly dross for most of our lifetime!!
Remember when we beat arsenal
Remember when we beat arsenal 2019 season and Dec scored the winner and the buzz around around stadium and pubs after, imagine if the fans were allowed in during the games this season- sure we would be shutting up the endless negativity surrounding the stadium from pundits rivals etc. When fans are allowed back in, we can build a fortress and get behind the team again
Or the night the first time
Or the night the first time the club beat chelsea at the LS? Or beating the Spuds there? The stadium was rocking on both those occasions, if the football being played is good, then the place CAN become a fortress of noise and atmosphere, in spite of it's poor design (sight lines from the old Apari stand at the Boleyn were hardly ideal were they?) the place can become intimidating for visiting teams.
The Chelski game marred by
The Chelski game marred by the Chelsea fans aggro and climbing 0ver the tarpaulin, remember the press making a massive thing about it - but didnt even see anything really going on in the stadium itself, another attempt to drag the clubs name in the mud
Said it before
The pandemic changes everything imo, something that was taken for granted, watching live football again regardless of how much you dislike the L.S will be a godsend a few beers as well & a hammers side to be proud of at last! Christ I bet sully is creamng himself, without the use of accessories for once!!;)

I think you could be a convert 65 to the BoM! :o) I hope so.
I always said the stadium and its supporters were fine... it was the muppets masquerading as footballers that was the issue!! Just wish were back sooner!!
