Ah well... thought we might nick it on the end but after a dismal display 1st half and well into the 2nd, we did well to turn things around! MOM was Noble for me... he was the best and most consistent over the whole match. I would start Emenike in the next game

Noble was superb again!!Moses-i dont get the critics of him,his run & effort for the first goal was superb,he was the difference when he came on...norwich were shit scared of A.C as well, emineke should of nicked it near the end...to be fair norwich came back strongly towards the finish..cracking second half (too complacent first 45 imo) & shows the strength in depth our squad has...slav nearly got sent to the stands, but the ref had a shocker...how many times have we said that this season!!COYI

Yes after the poor 1st Half as you say it was a very strong last 15 minutes and a great turnaround in the end by the Boys from 2.0 down .. Eminike had 2 great chances to Win it !

a great opportunity to go in front of Manu by 2 points and we blow it again against a team well in the relegation battle.

Hadn't thought of that before. We have a good team, but we're still not quite ready for the rigour of 4 competitions. On the other hand, if we want to finish in the top six we can't keep dropping points like we have in the last two EPL matches.

rescued but two dropped. Not only have we squandered yet another chance to go fifth, we've dropped to seventh !!

Yet again Enner and Song our two worst performers asoon as they came off and we had players to make the ball stick up front they couldnt get the ball

Looking here it's the same miserable buggers who are never satisfied.
Yes we gave them a 2 goal lead but it doesn't matter who you are in the Prem, no team should surrender that sort of lead with 20 minutes left....We've come a hell of a long way in such a short time, some people here have got short memories - Disappointing.

I was so pissed I went and took the dog for a walk thinking about about my post on here, relived when I got back, however were got complacent, NOT acceptable at this level, now I will have to watch the last half hour.

Another 2 points dropped against relegation certs, but credit for the great fight back. The performance was ok,but we just haven't got that killer instinct up front. When you look back to the team of 86 with Cottee and McCavennie, every game I expected Westham to score ,I am not getting that feeling so much with this side .Bilic has got to find the right formula up front .In the past Westham were struggling to get goals from midfield ,now that doesn't seem the problem ,as Payet,Antonio ,Noble,Lanzini, have been chipping in.But the way Bilic has the team set up with just one forward playing (with an eye for goal) in Valencia(who has been playing excellent) the team has reduced their chances of scoring.I think the team needs to play with more than just one forward, to improve their chances of finding the net from better movement and pace (Sakho and Valencia),the only problem is who do you play in midfield when Lanzini comes back? I would consider: ADRIAN...BYRAM,REID,OGBONNA,CRESSWELL....LANZINI,SONG,KOUYATE/NOBLE/OBIANG....PAYET...VALENCIA,SAKHO.....I think this is the strongest side.Difficult to choose between NOBLE,KOUYATE and OBIANG as they all provide something different that the team benefits from,I think it's a case of selecting the player to best suit the opposition. But what a bench RANDOLPH,TOMKINS,COLLINS,OXFORD,MOSES,ANTONIO,CARROLL,SAMUELSEN,EMINEKE

Ltes be honest, its hardly Bilic's fault that our entire attack keeps getting injured. Enner isnt a striker and song was dreadful again

True the injuries are plaguing the team yet again, but still think Bilic hasn't got the formation quite right.
Valencia plays forward for Ecuador ,has a good scoring ratio:

I thought Song was running the show in midfield in those first 20 minutes I watched ,didn't see any of the match after that.So are you saying fred that Song went off the boil, what in particular was his weakness?

Same as usual essex, gets in everyone elses way, too slow at releasin the ball, gives the ball away constantly offers no threat going forward, and is constantly out of position as a holding midfielder. What I find funny is people who think Noble is too slow for the game, id like them to explain how song is playing then, because he keeps trying to play the game at snails pace, and it kills us off

Song was playing really well first 20 minutes, then went off the boil after that..he has everything in his locker when he feels like it!!Is he a confidence player??

Essex, I doubt our balance more than our formation. For me the balance just doesn't seem right. It maybe why we get it wrong as much as we get it right. We must however get our realisation in check. Look at the team we had at the end of last season and the team we have now. How many new players have we had to bed in? So for me any new manager would be taking us through a transition season. So for me we are a team in transition, and that means everyone including big Slav has done brilliantly. Isn't it any wonder the team still has hiccups like slow starts, struggling to beat smaller teams, inconsistency, and to top it the injuries! We are doing well but Slav probably knows he can in time get more from his team. Next season I expect more of his own players in and a better balance to the team which in itself should pick up more points.

also hard to balance the side when you have so many injuries. I cant remember when we played the same side twice!!

Imo slav picks what he feels is his best team from the players AVAILABLE,luckily the difference this season is we have strength in depth...

Oh I totally agree with you la vida. ATM it's got close to just filling holes with so many injuries and altho it's easier to get a more balanced side with in injury free squad IMO it still wouldn't balance the team as well as it can be without a few careful additions next season.

Was thinking that myself....i was sure they put up 4 mins injury time on the board but they scored in the 95 minute??also the red card was the turning point imo...simpson although a good player has always been a bit petulant...could cost leicester the title!!

We were complacent in the first half, with only brief spells of dominance. I never felt threatened by Norwich in the first half; we should have done better there. In the second half, I was surprised to see Antonio return. Don't know how serious the shoulder is, but he was obviously still hurting, and we had a good bench. For me, it was Antonio getting caught out that made way for their first goal. The second goal also from complacency, but the ball fell very luckily to Hoolahan, who may have been offside. It took that much to wake us up. Moses made a big difference coming on, and brought Payet into the game. Payet's goal was good, but Noble's even better. A brilliant strike from someone who is developing quite a good read with Dimitri. I'm still not convinced by Emmenike--think he should have won for us from Andy Carroll's header across. It's a pity we dropped to 7th, but there are still points to be taken. Immense game at Ewood next Sunday. COME ON YOU IRONS!
