No result as of yet, but information has been released regarding Lucas Paqueta via Sky.
Before the official court dates started, Lucas was said to be betting thousands of pounds on himself. which gave the smallest of reasons as to why the FA wanted to ban him for life.
However, in due course, these rumours have now been crushed after it was announced that: “Half of the bets were under £50, most were under £100, the lowest of which was £7, Paqueta’s relative places an unusually large bet of £30 and the highest bet was £400”.
Only speculation, but it appears to be that the FA intentionally bigged up the case to start with, making everyone believe that the betting amounts were astronomical and that Lucas Paqueta was one of the most horrible people to ever play the beautiful game, therefore deserving a ban for life. What a load of nonsense! £7? A pint’s worth? Admittedly, I am talking about a ‘Bowl’ Pint, but I didn’t know that Sully had stopped the wages, has he…
The more this case goes on the more it seems that Paqman is definitely not going to receive the said ‘lifetime ban’ the FA is attempting to achieve. In an ideal world, Paqueta is not found guilty and then counter-sues the FA! It’s very West Ham esc if you ask me.
The courts have also announced that David Moyes will be providing a witness statement in defence of Lucas Paqueta, a very classy gesture from him.
We’re only a week into the trial, so more news will follow soon enough

Sorry. But you only have to
Sorry. But you only have to look at Paqueta's track record with recieving cards and you would know the odds would not be paticularly great. How many bets were placed on games he did not recieve a card?
I hope he gets off scott free and sues the Premier League for a fortune.
The case against Paqueta is
The case against Paqueta is crumbling fast. I cant see it sticking and would love to see it thrown out ASAP. Paqueta then sues the FA as has been said - Sweet FA!!!
old saying
No smoke without fire probably get found guilty on some small mister meaner and get a 3 match ban so the F.A don't get a bloodied nose and look stupid
Funny thing
But since the shit hit the fan, he hasn't had many cards has he .
Alvarez apart. He's had more
Alvarez apart. He's had more than most.

Was one of these bookings slightly dubious. Lot of experts at the time said it was not a card?
