Chris Sutton, never known for being backwards when it to comes to being forward, is rather impressed with the way David Moyes and his West Ham team have set about their business this season. So deep has his endorsement been, that he has questioned why Arsenal and Tottenham were unable to bring players like Tomas Soucek to their clubs.
Sutton further outlined why he thinks Hammers have a 'good shot' at a European place, in fact he was only undecided as to whether the Irons would be in the Champions League or the Europa Cup. He did make a 'click bait' comment that severalofWest Ham's players were not Barclays Premier League quality, however he then said "these players aren't Premier League standard, they are the whole of Europe standard!
Damning praise indeed from Mr Talk a lot, but he does have a point, in that Rice, Soucek, Coufal, Cresswell, Antonio, Lingard, Fabianski, Dawson, Diop and others really are up to the scratch, and are only now getting the credit they deserve, of course the only down side is that the better the payers perform, the more likely they are to be called up for international duty, and we know how that can turn out, don't we? - Ed

We are getting plaudits from
We are getting plaudits from several media areas and rightly so. We are a breath of fresh air to a lot of them and a relief to get a new team up there they can talk about with enthusiasm and not drole on about same old news about the usual suspects.
His comment about some of the players not up to Premiership standard maybe true but we are not prima donnas but we are a team fighting hard to get as high as we can get and that team is hard to beat and long may it continue!
