Second Signing Imminent After ‘Taty’ Price Agreed

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Thu, 01/01/2026 - 19:59

Tit for Tat! The Hammers have agreed an eye-watering €29,000,000 for Taty Castellanos, who’s an Argentinian currently playing for Lazio.

The forward had suffered a falling out with Lazio manager, Maurizio Sarri and it has come across as destined for the Argentinian to leave this transfer window. The forward found London to be a ‘dream’ place to move, and it has been said that he has been a significant driving force to ensure that the deal can come together.

The Hammers are now set to sign their second striker in the span of just two days, whichis good considering that Nuno is receiving the backing that he’s been crying out for, but ‘Taty’ has had a bumpy time, initially signed for €15,000,000 last season, he acheived 22 G/A across 40 games in the Serie A & Europa League combined, it all seemed to be a great signining until the forward fell out with the manager, struggling for minutes and has musered up 5 G/A in 11 appearences this season.

16 Goals across 74 games doesn’t exactly scream prolific, nor does it seem a sufficient player that you’d aspire to have to drag you out of a relegation fight, but is the glass half full or empty, beggars cannot be choosers off whom they get… Brownie points will be offered seeing as he’s ‘desperate’ to play for the club.

If all is to go to plan, given that the medicals are passed, the Hammers could find themselves going into the Wolves match with three first-team strikers, which’ll be the first time since the 2018/19 season… Hammers fans can only hope that these possible three are better than the likes of Hugil, Ol’ Andy & Lucas Perez!

Only one club he never scored for. Guess who that was. As for Andy Carroll, his goalscoring record was pretty decent although his injury record let him down.
Personally not confident on taking in players from abroad in our current situation hoping they'll hit the ground running when there are plenty of bum warmers on benches with Premier League experience right now.

I think Andy Barrel was probably our last proper real successful striker as I thought The Beast was more a winger like Arnie.

You would think we'd of learnt our lesson by now. Importing foreign strikers never works for us. Our recruitment policy is the reason we are in the shit in the 1st place...

Club is rotten from top to bottom!!

Exactly that Boogers, also anyone who really is showing potential and flare, with the show to blossom into greater things would not be signing for a team adrift in the bottom three.

We've signed Pablo Citroën Picasso, says he understands the club. Knows he's expected to give his all and leave everything on the pitch. Good start, let's give him a chance!
