Even if Guardiola, and all the top bosses come into the club, this team was a disaster. Masuaku made a great run at the very end and put in a good cross, but all you see is Sakho in the box and the rest of the squad no further than the 3/4 mark. Especially, when you are 2 down most teams would takethe game to the opposition, but this jaded side needs a new midfield. Two pacey youngsters to replace Noble and Obiang who looked like veterans. Lanzini did not exude any energetic movements. Kouyate was the only one that seemed to want to move forward along with tye late substitute in Masuaku. Honestly, where are the points going to come from?? December looks like a write off. There is no conviction or fluidity in this squad. Time to get rid of Carroll, and a couple of other deadbeats. Sakho did not touch the ball since his substitution. What does that tell you? What can Moyes pull out in the January transfer window?

Galvanises a team to do well in their first game in charge, ive seen nothing today in the way of change at all,its not the manager imo thats the problem - its these players.

Yeah,a long with the crooks at the top, now spend some f*cking money in Jan ,looking at that team today, players have no quality, fitness or desire to win, they wouldn't even cut it in the championship, if we go down the bowl will be a huge claret & blue elephant, with popcorn blowing out it's arse.

Them 3 crooks in charge need to f*ck off that’s what’s killing the club we need massive investment and they can’t do that.

Their egos are so big that they will never have the bo*lox to say that theyve got it wrong,if they did they might get a bit more respect...

Ffs what on earth was that as a performance? What has bilic done to those players? Or indeed what kinda squad has he assembled? These players are on tens of thousands a week and they just don't even show the basics! Really is shocking. The shape looked better and more ridged but what is the point when players can't pass simple balls, cross bog standard crosses, control standard passes and don't even look up when they play the ball! Yep Sunday is the right day for us to play. Sunday league stuff. If Moyes saves us itl be a bloody miracle! As for Carroll, anyone who describes arnie as elbows hasn't seen Carroll play at all. What a f@cking shower of sh1t that played today! This team looked the least talented team to represent the claret and blue in my lifetime. Well done Mr bilic.

There was some positive signs in the match, the main one for me, was to see 4 or 5 clear goal scoring opportunities, when did we last see that in a game? But overall Watford deserved their victory, the better team for sure, and Moyes will be wondering where does he start sorting out the teams playing style. For far too long under Bilic we were a team clueless as far as the style of play and tactics.Good to see players in their proper position today, again, when did we last see that? Not that it made a great deal of difference, our three midfielders,Kouyate the best of the bunch, try as he did,was having little success in making an impression.I honestly believe now the team needs a complete revamp in midfield,in the protecting the defence and creative attack play.Cavahlo would have been a great acquisition,as a holding player,Wilshire alongside Lanzini ,creative playmakers.Cresswell has definitely lost his mojo,he is nothing like the player he was in his first season,up and down that wing pinging in the crosses, like a marksman, but now he is a shadow of the player he was.Masuaku ,similar type of player ,but with more skill on the ball, lacks the defensive skills of a top defender, like Cresswell.Carroll has a lot of frustration in his game, giving away fouls virtually every tackle, not good to have in the side when he is in that frame of mind,he needs a rest on the bench, use him as an impact sub.Hernandez is our main man up front ,and the quicker Moyes comes to appreciate that he needs a partner up front with him the better,Sakho,Martinez,Ayew,Arnautovic they need to be given a try.I like 4-1-3-2,Calvahlo holding, team desperately need some central midfielders who are good on the ball ,who can create, like Lanzini and Wilshire, and stick a tough tackling box to box hard man in the mix and we can start firing on more than one cylinder.Moyes will need at least 10 to 15 games to turn this around and a healthy transfer budget in the January window,if the board fail to support him then they deserve all whats coming.

Kouyate best of the bunch? Are you sure? He was absolutely terrible. As for Obiang, he should be playing in the conference ive never seen someone give the ball away so much and take such little responsibility when on the ball.

Sakho, Obiang, Ogbonna, and probably a few others. Good riddance, of course, but what do we do while they drag us down? Frightful in a way we haven't seen in quite a few seasons: the knowledge that it will take a core of dedicated players giving everything they've got just to keep us in the league, while others can't be bothered to put in a shift. Who will stand up and be counted? I'm not really seeing anyone.

I have to say kouyate was one of the worst culprits IMO. Jesus his technique as a midfielder is embarrassing. Can't shoot or pass at all! Very little actual skill in him. I'm not bigging noble up but he was ok whereas most of them were far from it. People like Carroll, cresswell, obiang, and kouyate were shocking to the core! The others only slightly better.

The Witch Hunt against Noble is mental as is peoples continued support of Kouyate and Obiang. He didnt have a good game yesterday but the other 2 were far worse as has been the theme all season yet, its once again Noble who btw created one of our only clear cut chances of the game is the only one out the 3 getting major criticism.

True fred,Kouyate didn't do a great deal, but at least he was making some impact down that right side,Noble and Obiang done very little that caught my eye,and its been like that for a long time now, thats why Moyes will be looking for a complete overhaul in midfield.I'm glad Moyes didn't mince his words in that post match interview,he told us exactly what he thought of that performance. There will be a few damaged ego's,and I can see a few being shipped out this January....hopefully!

Noble actually completed passes to someone in a west ham shirt. As much as i dont like Kouyate i do agree at least he looked like he was trying. Obiang though... oh obiang I might have to start a thread over him...

I'm going to be controversial here. I think they ALL looked like the were trying. It was the one ray of light for me. And a better shape. Outside of that nothing positive to say.

It matters not if the ball doesnt go in!!the defending again was absolutely atrocious, this was watford we were playing & we made them look like citeh!!leicester up next at home - gawd help us

Tbf I thought our defending was much improved as a collective unit. Watford didnt have a single clear cut chance all game. Could been 2-0 to us as easily as it was 2-0 watford.

Not optimism mate just stats lol. But if you actually watched our defenders positioning and our shape as a team it was much better then under Bilic.

Ive watched the game again, just to make sure it was watford v westham, & yes we could have netted a couple of goals but on the other hand watford could have had 5 or 6!!Maybe you should have another look at their goals mate if you think our defending has improved!!

Still missing the point mate. Under Bilic the general shape of the team was all over the place which was one of the biggest reasons we were conceding so many goals. Now we may have conceded 2 and possibly coulve conceded others, but they didn't. Now usually this would be down to poor finishing, but in this case it was because we defended better collectively, we showed them wide more, narrowed the angles stayed compact, the 2 goals were actually very cheap really, the 2nd being a mistake by joe hart every day of the week. Compare this with the liverpool and brighton games, where they missing multiple clear cut chanes, like one on ones, passes across goal etc.. then theres a difference.
