Amongst the chaos that is running around West Ham at the moment, many rumours and alleged discussions have begun for numerous individuals, but in reality, a lot of outgoing news will be delayed due to the World Cup tournament.
As some players within our squad haven’t been selected for their respective nations, this, of course, makes deals easier to complete, meaning West Ham will be able to achieve some outgoings, but the reality of the situation is that the majority of business will take place once the tournament has been concluded.
Whilst most futures are unknown, West Ham have identified four players to axe, those individuals being Max Kilman, who will be set to go out on loan, whereas Alphonso Areola, Jean-Clair Todibo and Soungoutou Magassa are all set to be sold.
The goal is simple for West Ham this transfer window: raise £150m in funding whilst also retaining extra profit in order to purchase players that Nuno requires.
The Hammers have more than enough valuable assets to raise the £150m this window, so it is more about how the club plans to achieve this.
The combination of keeping the players who want to stay whilst still maximising the profits is the ideal goal, but in the meantime, West Ham will look to have the framework for future incomings in place, and they will then be dependent on the outgoings.
Expect business to take off around the end of July to the beginning of August - that’ll be the ‘prime time’.
