Caught on the counter again, that's what they have to watch but didn't deserve it.

The passing has been good, the tackling good, the running off the ball excellent. Added to that we haven't fallen apart like we did when we went behind against City. It is just the final touch that has let us down. Maybe Ayeu to link up with Carroll?

we conceded goals in our best moment ... You can not commit such a mistake losing the ball that way.

Without Antonio on the pitch we don't half lack genuine pace.
Why on earth didn't Noble cross that ball rather than hold on to it for the Chelsea goal though?
I'd stick Ayew on for Feghouli push Kouyate into the middle and play Fernandes at right back in the second half....COYI!

You get the good with the bad. He's still our captain and most dedicated Iron. It's a real pity about the goal, but maybe he can make something happen in the second half.

West Ham playing the in-form side of the league, taken out by a blistering counterattack off a mistake, and a corner that was perhaps not well enough defended. But we had our chances. Feghouli came close and is playing well. Lanzini good effort too. Although our goal was perhaps a consolation goal, it was well taken, and the stats show a fairly even match. Quality of the side: Chelsea are stronger. Heart in the team: can't fault West Ham United. Just hope the determination continues and we start to get a run of results: Bournemouth, Leicester, Hull -- none of em easy but all winnable. Even Arsenal at the end of that run won't be nothing like Chelsea. KTF and COYI!!!

We still lack real finesse in attack -- almost saw something like it with the 1-2 between Noble and Lanzini in first half, before the goal, but the creation of chances is still lacking. And I wouldn't say we are currently great on the counter either, although we really missed Antonio today. But I'm optimistic: the key difference between now and last season is no Payet. And I don't mean the 2016-17 Payet, I mean the 2015-16 Payet. We haven't had that all season and it makes us more ordinary. But I daresay in some ways the team is tighter than we were with the 2016-17 Payet, and the addition of one or two key players would make us a contender for that 6-7-8 spot in the table. We'll get there.

that, thought we did enough to earn a point and against Chelsea, nice job. I dont think Kouyate can play RB, much better in the middle and a full team Feghouli should not start. Got the impression that Chelsea would fall apart if Conte was not there pulling all the strings, cant see players standing that for very long. Ref had a good game and you dont see me say that very often if ever!

I dont think I've seen a better side than Chelsea in all the years of the prem ,allthough it pains me to compliment them ,they dont seem to have any weaknesses (other than that lunatic prancing around on the touch line )the thing is when you play a team like that it shows up perfectly where your own chinks are Lanzini ,always has a good first half but fades dramatically in the second ,himself and Feg are a bit lightweight easily shoved off the ball ,Nobby ,getting to the stage where he cant hack it anymore ,all the heart in the world but heart ,courage and loyalty cant make up for a gulf in the skill factor ,and whether we like it or not we do suffer from an over Reliance on Carroll every time he goes down you think oh fek it another 4 months im not a lover of the one up front sytem ,its a bit dated look at the big clubs they go forward on block ,hunting in packs ,this one up front is so predictable and really easy for an experienced back two to deal with .
I think our confidence levels were sky high last night and we passed it around superbly until that break ,but we're still lacking in getting into threatening positions, well done Randy ,centimetres from saving the first and a couple of quality saves
