What Planet Are Spurs Supporters On?

There's sour grapes, and then there are grapes that having been left too long become hallucinogenic, these must be the fruit being consumed by some Tottenham fans websites following their defeat at the hands of David Moyes's West Ham team last Sunday, a defaet that put them NINTH in the Barclays Premier League table, as opposed to West Ham in FOURTH position.

Here is a classic example of an 'in denial' comment from Spurs Web:

"On the balance of play, I thought we were actually the better team on Sunday as we created many more opportunities than they did. We now sit nine points behind West Ham with a game in hand and that is certainly not an insurmountable gap. If we play the same way we did in the second half at the London Stadium, I believe we still have a good chance of finishing ahead of the Hammers this season."

wishful thinking and if to end up ahead of us is their aim for this season then they are not looking at the bigger picture or maybe missing the fact that spurs like Liverpool are on a very bad run at the moment in the premier League both with coaches having major problems. Klopp has personal problems which you can understand but the not so special one seems to have upset quite a few of his players and although Levy has said he wont sack him but re-asess his position at the end of the season. where have we heard that one before?
