We need some recognized forwards for the next few weeks. Hernandez is a waste of time. As long as Sturridge stays fit until Arnatouvic gets back, I have more faith in him than Chicharito. Even the only cross that Cresswell put into the box in the dying minutes was a total waste as Hernandez was not even in the box. I'd say spot on Burkie over Hernandez. Having said that he was never gonna fit with us and should not have been bought at all. We are just not good enough to accommodate a player of his ilk. ATM we are relying on all 11 players to give their all. If Hernandez did nothing more than lurk around the box (which is more realistically his game) the other ten have got to be better in keeping hold of the ball and pass far better. He is exceptional in the box but pretty much a waste anywhere else on the field. So only a top side can accomadate him! If the board were true to their word about creating a champions league club then Hernandez should be the last signing we got to complete the transistion. So for me he has been bought far too early. We need stronger foundations to the team. Buy Hernandez now is like building a house of brick in a swamp.

Half a century ive followed this club,but lets face facts is it enjoyable anymore?? the cups are not important anymore,we have no academy talent coming through,players get injured more than any other club i know,far too many primma donna over the hill players just here for the pay packet,on top of that weve been moved from our home to a soul less athletics stadium by out of touch money grabbing owners who pretend to be fans...whatever happened to this great club!!

So it doesnt really bother me,i just feel for the loyal fans who make the long wasted journey with their hard earned..i think we all knew the outcome of this game before it started...the difference is clubs like wigan will fight for their lives in a game like this,whereas our lot just havnt got the heart for it,im not blaming moyes too much as his hands are tied due to injuries,but his press conference before the game pretty much summed up what was going to happen...i wonder if sugo & lady bonus are upset on their way home in their warm,cosy chauffeured limos!!

My team of disgarded colts and those who did not quite make it way back in 1980 could play better than West Ham today. (We were in the Metropolitan League) I saw a lot of Sunday football from West Ham today just clearing it and hoofing it up field where it was collected by Wigan and sent back.
