Looks like he could be back next season. West ham are trying to get him off the books no club wants him at the moment. West ham have tried to come to a settlement but he wants to be paid in full , he is on 40k a week and has still over a year to go . I wish I had turned pro instead of taken up my true love a decorator :((

We really are crap at writing contracts. Didn't anyone think to put in a "must not be garbage at football" clause?

They should have looked

They should have looked deeper into carrolls contract also bully and they would have found in small print bones made out of strawberry shoelaces :)

Ha-ha yeah. Somebody reckoned they have medical insurance for when high paid players are out for a long time. I reckon Carroll must be uninsurable!

And also:

He throws those bones at everyone and everything even when there's no chance of winning the ball, hence you can exptect a lot of injuries.

Oh no ,i think they have sorted out and learnt about contracts now.But put him in reserves or the kids and tell them don't be like him but actually be a good striker with the right attitude and not a lazy b______d !
