How do you guys feel about our signings? 11 in all including Lanzini, which could be one of our most important ones. With what we already had and only losing Valencia and Tomkins from the first team squad, I feel like we have a good sized squad and good competition across the board. There will always be, the "ones that got away" but that is yet to be seen if we missed out or not. So now the nonsense of yellow and black is finished. Are you happy with the 11 players in and the two major ones out? Also what is you're line up now if all are fit?
Oops mine would be 4-3-3.
Oops mine would be 4-3-3. Adrian, Arbeloa, Ogbonna, Reid, Cresswell, Noble, Kouyate, Lanzini, Payet, Antonio, Zaza.

I like Arthur and would probably start him ahead of Arbeloa. Also it is very difficult to leave Collins out on current form. Otherwise I like the shape an ballance to your team.
my only worry
is the lack of creativity when lanzini/payet not about and would liked to of seen a cheeky bid for mata ...still sad to of seen Tomkins sold but that's football you live and die by your decisions.....arbeloa is an astute signing providing cover and experience which byram can learn from...but now I just want to see us have a bit more luck on the injury front but we cant have everything can we
Boney
still sorry we didnt get him, wait and see on Zaza. Delighted to keep Payet!

Valencia will be back!!
No way will Everton pay $14m at the end of season. Nordvart was a strange accusition, fegholi, Calleri, ant tore may show promise, masuaku seams decent, new Spanish right back looks a little lightweight but we will see. Zaza will show just enough to frustrate us, like Boliteli at Liverpool. Some have said the best piece of business we have had was keeping Payet, but I think that's unfair to the obvious amount of effort this summer, and to the rest of the team.. A very flippant comment.. Apologies for spellings of above names!!
Puzzled
With the Ayew signing, don't see the point. Have now seen Calleri, Nordveit, Tore and Feghoulie live and not at all impressed that they will in any shape or form be first on the team sheet over the season. Much as we dislike Merson, think we can all agree that we have been linked with all and sundry and ended up with the leftovers. Zaza remains to be seen but I'd lay odds that Bony and Remy will score more goals given the same game time. Apparantly Tevez wanted 250k a week to play and Sullivan spat his dummy out. Quality costs. I'd have paid him that myself. Can't believe weve let Samuelson and Burke out on loan again as I think they are both good enough to have been in the squad thereby saving a few quid on the aquisitions made this summer
If you read some of the
If you read some of the recent posts on new players and in particular the Zaza thread you'll see some evidence.
Do we have a stronger team?
I'm not sure if our team is a stronger 1st 11 but it's definitely a stronger squad with 2 players for every position.
If all were fit I'd play...
