Hi Nev , just wondering could you endorse this appeal for these unfortunate people ,their starting to run short of water now never mind food , they are a peace loving Buddhist & Hindu people upon whom fate has dealt a catastrophic blow , with the expected death toll expected to reach ten thousand and God knows how many injured ,and people sleeping under freezing, rain soaked blankets . PLEASE think if it was you that were starting the funeral piers of your loved ones , i apologies if the members think this is inappropriate on a football web site but the Nepalese people need all the help they can get , i beg each and every one of you . dec.org.uk
Donated last night.
As i sat down for my evening meal the images came on the telly, then after ill have a nice bath,& later on ill be tucked up with the missus in a warm bed(all things we take for granted)!!I donated straight away-these poor people are going without the basics,& are having to start funeral pyres for their beloved (which is heartwrenching)...like burkie says please take a moment to imagine if this tragedy was happening over here....
Pleas give a little, or a lot
Donate via the pay pal link, you won't be bombarded by other less worthy appeals. -Ed

Gurkhas
Each day we post on here and have a freedom to post what we like without profanity and within the constiution of the UK laws. This freedom of speech has been afforded to us by the protection of our democracy aided by our miliatary protecting these shores. The Ghurkas are a Nepalese soldier and since 1940s have been protecting our shores and borders. Let that sink in guys. They have helped us for years and years, so it's time to give back.

Well said mate...my old man used to tell me about the Gurkhas he served with when he was in the malayia conflict in the fifties,he used to say they were always by your side & you could always count on them..."better to die than be a coward" is their motto!
